I have the MDR 1A and they have broken today and looking fo another one but ebay wants silly price for them considering there old headphones and came across this video with the M2 so do these sound better as i like the sound of the MDR 1a had them for almost 9 years so looking for the same sounds style
@kinemosstech4 күн бұрын
They don't sound the same. M1 is more of a darker sounding headphone, with less emphasis on details. M2 to me sounds better, it's more detailed and has a cleaner presentation. Build wise the M1 was more robust, but M2 is lighter and more comfortable. Hope this helps!

I really like the Eligia. For the price, AUD $319, the are a bargin. Perhaps a little heavy, but comfortable. Very comfortable. Nicely built with a great case. They like a little power, but not power hungry. And they like to burn in. Not as overly good as the Focal clear, which I also own, but fantastic overall and good to travel with. Cheers

I bought these, LOVE them. Breaking them in it sounds so much different now, like wow. Also initially I EQ'n them (sound profile on my PC, Realtek, "Party" mode and adjusted it a bit more from there to my liking. Never heard anything so clear,, vocals, the base is so tight and thumps hard, just love how none of the different parts (bass, vocals etc) bleed into each others areas as well. Just so great and so happy to buy these and the comfort is AWESOME. Got them on sale but they blow everything else away at this price point. You can definitely tell they are premium headphones and well worth the original $1000+ asking price.

I use the 7hz Salnotes Zero as monitor when I play guitar. I tried many others and I always return to them. I had tried Truthear Zero red, Simgot ea500, Dunu titan S, Moondrop Aria Se, Shure se215, Tin t2, Kz ZS10, Etymotic er2se. I kept the Moondrop Aria Se for monitoring vocals. I also Kept the Etymotic but them are a different thing. The Simgot ea500 and the Dunu titan S were good for the guitar, but I still rather the Salnotes Zero. I use them with a replacement cable (for comfort). Now I ordened the Hexa to hear how they sound! Thanks for your review!

The KSC75 driver is titanium coated (same as the KTXPRO1). Most would agree this results in a noticeably altered sound over the PortaPro or the KPH40 outside the differences caused by the headbands. So, reason to have both!
@opti62486 күн бұрын
The KPH40s are great, but as someone who has both those and headband modded KSC75's, they sound waaaay different, KSC75's are brighter and wider, KPH40's are warmer, bassier and narrower. Totally up to preference really.
@denislemieux72945 күн бұрын
I have both. They’re awesome. Can’t decide which is better. Make a switch- take the headband off the 40s and put it on the 75s. Ear clips from 75s go to the 40s. They’re BOTH better and more comfortable with the switch.

@@IHearEverythingDude I used the Elegia headphones with a 4.4mm cable. However, as I mentioned in my review, the 4.4mm output doesn’t give extra power-it’s just there for convenience. Also, don't be confused by the letter "H" you see on the DAC screen in the video. It doesn't mean high-gain mode; it just shows that the output is set to headphones. Hope this clears things up!

As far as I know there is no option to completely turn the display off. But you can set the dimmer to 5 seconds and the screen will turn off after 5 seconds. Not a complete walkaround though, as changing the volume for example will wake the display up. But it still works for some scenarios.
