There is concept of both adwaita and dwaita in BG... In very end of bhagabad gita Shri Krishna says abandon all duties and surrender to Him... That is also part of the important messagw in Bhagavad Gita.. Why does it come to the end with that statement if it is not gist of BG?

Because that is also a path. Me does dont mean krishna as body its oneness which every one is. Its must simple way to rich krishna or oneness by surrendering everything in god you are not you. Its all god doing from you, you become sunya like buddha says and you reach to oneness but its not simple as we talk not even advaita like all its doing is playing mind games instead we try to be 0 and we reach there. Have to read vigyan vairav tantra where shiva has 115 way of meditation he had said same as krishna

The knowledge is not intellectual knowledge nor intellectual understanding. The test of realisation is not knowledge as understood. The test of realisation takes place at several instances: E.g. Someone is better than me, does my ego get thwarted? E.g. People cease to pamper my ego, do I feel sad? E.g. In the face of misery, can I manage to keep equipoise? When things are working well, all are saints. But when things are no longer working well, can I keep my sainthood? It is in adverse circumstances that realisation is tested. Knowledge certainly helps but does it make me pass the above tests?

Fortunately, there's no ONE way to control the mind. The multiple yogas help. Even doing our daily menial and office duties with focus is a perspective of controlling the mind. The purpose of controlling the mind is to make it soar in the higher realms. If this happens through work, worship, arts, music or study; then the problem is overcome.

Where there is no self, there is no end, only the one true source, love and compassion, which has no beginning. Come rest, upon the mountain, until only the mountain remains, then, arise, once again, as the new days begins.

He does not answer. In a universe based on the (apparent) density of form, of the (illusion) of separation and individuation, and the exploration of the contrast of dark and light, suffering is baked in, it comes with the territory, it is the consequence of natural processes. The realms of light are already love and unity. Here savagery and the sublime coexist. This is a predator-prey planet. Everyone is killing and eating everyone else and territorial competition is fierce. We think birds sing from joy. No they don't. They re claiming their territory or communicating. So if this is the nature of things, it is "what is", not what we demand it to be. If we delve behind the veil , we see everything is for love, generated by love, held by grace. We just can't see the bigger picture, the exquisite justice, the boundless opportunities we eventually see. To the dinosaurs, the asteroid was a holocaust, but it carved out cracks for the rise of mammals. " Time to go. not pleasant but take on new forms." Every mystic who recounts their experience comments how unfathomably it is all held together, how it all makes sense, how everything is held in the heart of grace. This place would not mean anything if it weren't so severe. it's what ceates combustion. It is not called "The Pearl Beyond Price" for nothing. It's meant to be freaking hard. Buddha got that. There are some lighter lives, but souls generally choose harder "accelerated lives" for a reason. Growth trumps comfort.

I have arrived in this peaceful dispassion a few time in recent years. Ignorant to the understanding of it being a powerful state of peace, I became board, pursued excitement, and only after the last time, understood with regret at having pushed it away. Now, it has become very difficult to regain. 🙏💕🕊

I find that moving consciousness into the heart helps with the monkey mind during meditation. It's almost like my attention isn't in the head and so being further from the mind it doesn't interfere quite as much. I've been working on quieting the monkey mind for years and i agree it's not an easy or quick fix. But what choice do we have?

Sri Ramakrishna teaches that one should work hard in youth to enjoy one's pension in later days. Dispassion is earned naturally by developing passion for God; even for the peace and serenity experienced during quiet moments of contemplation, study, music. Same is lost when looking for worldly affection and one has to work again to regain peace and composure. This is the process till one learns to revel in one's own acquired peace and joy through spiritual communion. Passion for the positive experiences of inner peace and joy naturally draws away from worldly hankerings and passion.
