Land Rover back then much more reliable than the modern version which seems to catch fire by itself LOL also so sad 34 years later we have gone backwards as a human race , no more friendship between nations heck even the US-UK relationship not looking great , I dont like it , I want to go back to my childhood of the 1990s it was much better then.

all that work is just stupid, thoe cars have more winching than driving...its just idiotism to challange a trail like that in a stock vehicle.... 39 inch boggers,spool front rear, small block v8 with 4 link suspension....and all than on a toyota hilux....wouldnt need winch not even once...this is just being a total nobrain...why dont you go on this trail with a renault clio ? same shit

Shows just what proper Land Rovers could do. Its a great shame that Land Rover have chosen just to make 4wd vehicles now, not off-road vehicles as they did for almost 50 years.

This took place just about 30 years ago. It blows my mind. Back then, these fellers were in their thirties, give or take. Today (end of 2019), they would be in their sixties! Wow! What have they become, what have they been up to since then? Are teams still in touch with one another? This being said, as a Disco 1 owner, I would never dare thrash it the way they did! Maybe it's because I actually paid for it? :) Just joking. I go off road just so, although I am very careful. Thank you for the upload!

One of the best moments in Camel Trophy history. They were meant to make a bridge and probably dig a path for the ditch and dirt mound segment, but since there weren't any rules they all just blasted through at full speed.
