I would like to ask you, based on your experience, what advice can you give to those natural youtubers that are becoming straight natural cause i still get confused to why, we black people still want our hair to have Caucasian or eurocentric features? Is it wort it?

I would say that natural hair is versatile and can be worn however they please. I don’t think anyone should be judged based on how they wear their hair. At the end of they I don’t think anyone really cares what people do in real life. As long as it works for them and their hair they should keep it up.

Funny coming across this today. I just rebraided my hair last night. I lost 5 inches from going straight natural the last few months. 😩 Went from hip length to waist length from heat damage. I'm done with the straightening for a good long time, lol..

It actually was pretty moisturizing it didn’t dry it out especially for a mousse. But it wasn’t as moisturized as my normal wash n go when I use a leave-in and gel.

Definitely agree I get those split dry ends too with the little pieces breaking off. When my hair starts doing that I go heatless for a few months. I also seem to stay stuck at the same length when I exclusively wear my hair straight I dont get it 😂

Great points! I agree about going heatless for a while I do this for about 3 months too! I noticed my hair retains length better heatless with braid outs. I wear my hair straight mostly but I like to take breaks for months at a time.

Yup I apply the grease after I’m done adding everything (leave in + gel) for my wash n go to top it off.

@LIFEWITHKELC Ok, because I've recently went back to using grease, and plan to clarify my hair next time I wash it. Grease really does keep the moisture in the hair longer. When I use oil, it dries back out faster🤦🏾♀️.

Thanks for this video, KelC🌼 Using the Blue Magic shea butter grease has been helping me transition from relaxed to natural. My hair feels better and less dry. I shampoo weekly and have not experienced any clogged scalp pores or other problems.

@@BrookeaCookea Black women have always done roller sets since way back lol this question is shady and wild. Roller sets are still indirect heat which isn’t as damaging but doesn’t get it that straight. but it’s still more damaging than not using heat on your hair at all.
