Awesome video! I got a somewhat dumb question but I cant really find any specific answers other than the clear differences; Buddy of mine wants me to join the sport, I'm a Kawasaki guy (from the motorcycle background), they use 1000XMR's for their rides. I rode it, it was fun and all but seemed too heavy and bulky... Would a brute with a lift, shocks and matching tires keep up with the Can Am? I know they have double the HP but are also significantly heavier. The XMR is purpose built and I understand that, but its too expensive even used in comparison, so I dont want to spend a lot just in case I dont enjoy riding ATV's as much. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
@BruteforceExplorerАй бұрын
@@CJZ964 it all depends on what you mean by “ keep up”. “ keep up wide open throttle on a logging road on an hours long run? “ probably not. “ keep up running chest deep mud?” Probably not. “ keep up, with the trendy status symbol of having the latest, greatest, most instagram clout worthy ATV on the market?” Probably not. Everything else? F&ck yeah. Buy what you want and don’t be a sheep who pays a car payment on an ATV “ just to have the most expensive ATV money can buy” 90 percent of 1000 XMR riders will never ride that machine past the difference level of a maxed out brute force. But an ATV for YOU , not to impress your friends

The majority of buyers just trail-ride their ATV's no need for a metal skid plate, I have customers that bought 800+ cc ATVs and rarely use the 4x4 or the winch!!

Great video as usual. I had just been on part of this a week ago myself. This trail can work into a few different loops. If you had of gone straight rather than turn left to go down to the toll bridge, it would have taken you back to Ingramport Rd. The direction you were heading can take you to Mill Lake and exit 6 or north to Timber Lake and back over to further up Ingraport Rd or Hiking Trail Rd. A fantastic trail system that the local clubs have done a lot of work on over the years. My favorite area to ride.

The area you said was untouched was actually owned by Bowater-Mersey for almost 100 years, heavily managed for forestry and would have been cut over at least once (that's why those roads were built). That's all natural regeneration. Certainly looks a lot nicer than a paved parking lot for another new Costco, and you have some nice trails to rip on.
