Hi, when do you start feeding them after they hatch?

These were fed by the mother and father. Usually they are immediately fed by the parents. It's very very difficult to feed this little ones because they can easily die. It's been done, but I tried a few times because the parents kicked them out of the nest (these were gouldian finches) and eventually they would die on me because they easily aspirate. They have videos on how to feed them, though, if you have to on your own.

Yes, hard-boiled eggs with the shells also. They love it.

My finch lays lots of eggs but none ever hatch .They were layering which is where she would lay an egg and the male would cover it up so she could not sit on it.Found 6 layers in the nest each with an egg .Now I am trying with no nesting material but her house she will not let him up there if he trys to she runs him off is that a good sign?

My friend has two finches and his actually laid one today, he says that they always eat the egg though. Hmmm bad parents

+Hayden Wilcox Sorry I took long to respond. That's strange. Are they society finches? They are usually very good parents. He must have a crazy one!

Yes, apparently they are! but it's really rare. They are usually good parents. I have to actually remove the eggs from the nest, otherwise I'll have a gazillion societies! lol
