Are you willing to sell your silver bills? You have to start selling one or two or take the nesting boxes out. I started getting to many owl finches. I took the nesting boxes out. Enough now I'm going to sell some at the show. I can't keep them all. Thanks for the helpful video.

Bro your birds need natural sunlight. Finches can survive in outside avaries.

I live in New England where are you gonna get natural sunlight 20° I know what I’m doing, brother Once the spring time comes that’s when I open all the windows I supply my birds with all the nutritions and supplements that they need in the winter because of lack of ☀️ sun and finches cannot survive in negative temperatures

So glad to hear your keeping your birds. To be honest, i was disappointed when I saw your last video about selling your birds. I'm 61 years old and had gotten rid of my birds when i was younger with the mindset of getting back into it when i was older. Well im older now and recently got back into it. What i found out is that now everything is much more expensive. The birds and double or triple the cost as they were back then. I'm slowly building up my inventory, birds, cages etc. So my advice is listen to your fiance and keep everything because at later in life, it would be difficult to obtain what you have now. I know it's a lot of work but you het high rewards especially when you have all these chicks hatching. You have a successful bird room , one that a lot of birdkeepers would love to have. So keep that in mind and enjoy the fruits of your labor. Happy New Year to you and your family . And keep those videos coming. I enjoy them and learn a lot from you.

I didn’t want to get rid of the birds, but my fiancé knocked some sense into my head. I’m glad she didlike you said it’s hard to have a functioning burn room like I do. you won’t make your money back to be honest… i been raising birds over 23 yrs and if you don’t raise the birds people demand then you’ll only losing money.. i breed and sell song birds and they go for 400$ to 3k a piece…if you don’t control your breeding then you’ll just losing money for feeding, buying cages etc… you should reduce breeding cause you’ll end up finding more money than selling… breeding then it’s not hard unless the pair aren’t good parents… i hand reared all my birds, to get what i want and enjoy them only but if i have to sell it’s try go as much as 2k to 3k a piece fully trained, but i just breed it for my enjoyment.. do you have any gray singers or green singers, if you do i’ll buy them or do you know anyone selling them please let me know

Unfortunately, they are very few finches that you can sell for 1K3K there are some finches that you can sell for $1000. It don’t matter if you hand raised them or whatever you do you’re not gonna get that type of money for the type of finches that I have or any regular Guy has out there Now if you have parrots, that’s a different story when it comes to Birds I am very knowledgeable and the market for Birds it’s very high everybody wants to buy birds nowadays happy holidays happy New Year’s. I wanna know what kind of birds you have that you sell for that kind of money it has to be parrots you’re not selling finches for $2000. You’re not doing it not regular based finches.

@ i raised red whiskered bul bul, hwamie, .. these birds are mainly desired by asian, asian song birds.. good singing red whiskered bul bul 3k, shama thrush long tail… the only finch i raised is black throated canary finch, 1k to 1500… lemon breasted canary finch 1k … hand reared birds makes a big difference when it comes to price and demand?!?? you may be knowledgeable about finch but not what asian likes and willing to pay… we asian don’t mind paying 1-3k a bird if it sings good songs, but not all the birds you see other people has is a great singer…

Hey bud thanks my soon to be wife is a great woman. She’s the one that’s making me keep all my birds. She never gave me trouble about the birds at all she helps me sometimes and I’m the one that’s don’t let her. But I tell you if a woman ever told me that I had to pick her or the birds. Yes, it’s hard for me to think about it but it’s a lot of time that I put into it and I need to put time into my family. The pigeons already do a toll on me and then I have the finches on top of that so I have to let the finches go. I hope it works out for me.

I always see issue with leg bands . I've had a few get there legs caught in the cages and they have always happened to be the birds with the bands . I wonder if that's the case with your gouldian aswell
