Just a note as I just purchased this item. The 8.4 and 10.4 have an auto switching power supply and will conform to whatever voltage you supply to them. I assume because of the much larger load on the 12.4 it needs the voltage selector which the smaller subwoofers don't need. Great video which helped me get a quick grasp of the various features. Thanks. By the way, this is what I've read online about the units...I haven't tested it yet...proceed with caution or check for yourself.

I have old original 10s, it thumps nicely with a cross over at 50hz, it says on back 200watts. I bought new 10.4 and so far disappointed with min 60hz cross over and seems like less watts at 160? No grille also, but the surprise is can’t find one anywhere, all on back order till ? 10.4 sitting back in box because I’m on the road and speaker will definitely get ruined. Side by side sound test and so far I think the old 10s sounds better? Maybe the 10.4 needs a break in??.

Laura mentioned that you add 48v phantom power to make it work. Does that apply to only condenser capsules, or did she mean that 48v is necessary for even a dynamic capsule? I'd love to get her meaning, as I got confused there. If anyone can answer, I'd be very grateful.

Thank "yu" for the review... Bought the SLDX. -and I must comment on The Wight of the MIc..w/ Sm58 - Not sure i'd want to hold that hefty 'barbell' for a 2-hour performance. Your dramatic :05 -singing description (5:37) 'Shure' did not take (hours of holding) that into consideration - Handling Noise is a measurable factor as to the Reason to buy this mic. I have a question about this subwoofer: do you guys know is there is a problem setting it upwards instead of laying on its side? Apparently (as I read the text in the back) it has to be sideways but for space purposes I wish I could place It upwards (longest side up) but I have no idea if that will make a sounding difference. Any thoughts?
@alotlater19052 жыл бұрын
Pretty shady of KRK to sell the grille separately. Even more dumb is they include NO INSTRUCTIONS. To install it, you have to take of with a thin screwdriver the gasket from the subwoofer, then this grille fits perfectly and it's quite sturdy. I'm sure will be useful to some!

@PeterESchmittCompany2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the question! The biggest difference is that ULXP is an analog wireless system, which has been discontinued and replaced by ULXD, and SLXD is a digital wireless system. Hi. In my own tests I have managed to get a three hour video recording while supporting my iPhone on external battery and putting the iPhone into airplane mode, but the video is useless because it does not 'save' after recording. So while it will record a video IRO 3 hours, it's basically a waste of time, I can only save videos of around 45 minutes or shorter. I have asked Shure to confirm maximum recording time but after over two months of waiting they have still not come back to me with a meaningful answer. Can you tell me please have you tried recording a long video with this kit? I am using an iPhone X, in airplane mode and do not disturb mode, using the MOTIV video app. FYI the error is: "Save Error. Video recording cannot be saved because of error: The operation couldn't be completed. (PHPhotosErrorDomain error -1.)" Recording a video without the Motiv App works just fine.

When listening to myself from the microphone there is a weird hiss/ cracking sound but the sound does not appear on the recording and if it does it’s minimal. I used 3 different headphones just to make sure it’s not the headphones and the same happens. Usually when the gain it’s more than 3/8 lights

So you have to use the whole 150g per use? Can you use the left over 50g on another day? Does the run time reload to the same time when you turn it off and then back on?
@PeterESchmittCompany3 жыл бұрын
Hi Jay! Thanks for the questions. You do not have to use all of the powder within one day. You can safely keep up to 25% of the chamber full during transportation and then use it another day. It is suggested that if the powder will sit more that a few days, you should empty the chamber, but the powder would still be good to use another day as long as it is stored in an airtight container. As for run time, it will always be at the same timing as you previously left it. So if you have 750 second of run time left when you power it off, you will have 750 seconds left when you power it on. Thanks!

question, i saw another video explaining how microphones that don't use 2.4 mhz can be illegal in some areas because other frequencies outside of 2.4 are for tv channels. Soo my question is '' are these mic's blocked from those frequencies from the manufacture/ by default or is it something we as the buyers need to avoid"?
@PeterESchmittCompany3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the question! That video is correct in that there are SOME frequencies outside of 2.4 that are illegal to use and it is also illegal to sell mics that function in those frequency bands, but with that said, all new Shure wireless mics are sold to function within the legal frequency bands. There are TV stations that function within the same frequency band as wireless mics. That doesn't make them illegal, but that can cause some interference. So before purchasing, you will want to visit the Shure Frequency Finder, plug in your location, and it will give you what the best frequency band to use in your area is to get the least amount of interference. You can visit the Shure Frequency Finder here: www.shure.com/en-US/support/tools/frequency-finder Thanks and have a great day! :)

@@David92age2 Hi David! In order to connect the TH53 to a computer, you will need to purchase the XLR version of the TH53, and then some kind of audio interface, such as the Shure MVi, or the RME Babyface Pro. There is no built in headphones with the mic, you will need to purchase those separately. Thanks!
