Would you recommend wearing the Dragonflys on outdoor XC races? I’m a senior in HS running the 5k, the terrain varies

From what I've heard from others, the only place you should wear dragonflys is on a dry grassy course, as you'll get the most energy back from the plate in the shoe on the hard ground. A muddy, wet, or gravel-ey course might not be the best place to wear down the zoomx foam on the spike

I ran a 356 1500 in college in the original nike zoom eldoret 1. They blew every other spike i had ever run in out of the water. The shape of the sole was similar to the eldoret 2 in this video but was made of hard plastic, and the circular skirt sort of wrapped the whole shoe up on the circumference for a very taught, springy feel. Very good roll to the original eldoret 1 that allowed for slight heelstrike but when kicking was very easy to stay on the front. If you want to know how good the original eldoret 1 were, look up wilson kipketer. He swore by them and broke seb coes 800m world record in them. That was enough pro validation for me at the time. Also idk if the eldoret 2 in this video has a rubber sole that grips the track, but one of the amazing things about my original eldoret 1 plastic sole is it kind of slid until you planted your sole on the track to push off. Hard to explain but they were just awesome.

This is pretty late but I was wondering which spike I should get if I’m running the 1k and the mile this coming indoor season. I heard that the victory’s are not very durable and the zoomx foam would separate from the bottom plate. Is this true?

Eliud Kipchoge's experiment (Monza vs Vienna) suggests about 1 second per kilometre, or 10 sec in 10 k, attributable to shoe elasticity. It's not peanuts.

Pedí las zapatillas nike zoom victory lastima no saber Inglés porque me gustaría saber su opinión sobre esta zapatilla. Soy fondista pero con 46 años incursionó en carreras de 1500 y 3000mts en pista tengo 425 en 1500 y 948 en 3000mts piensan que estas zapatillas me pueden ayudar?

Las dos son buenas, también tenía la duda entre las dos. Para 1500m definitivamente los Víctory, capaz estirarlo hasta los 3000m. Pero es dependiendo tu técnica de carrera

Con la forma que tienen los Víctory te obligan a ir de puntas, pero los Dragonfly quizás te ayudan si en los 3000m empiezas a talonear cuándo vas cansado
