Do these T1 units still hold up today? Good life span/durability? (or is there a better option for the $..? ie $300/used) How do you connect/power this if you're not using it with the Bose PA? I read somewhere you need a special adapter / cable to power this thing from regular outlet.. Thanks

Kernschrott. Punkt.

Can I use a 1/4 TS unbalanced out from the T1 AUX and send via splitter to powered speakers as a combined MONO input? Does the T1 Aux output combine LR channels to a MONO output when using 1/4 TS unbalanced cables?

it seems very nice, but you told it is not for practice, neither gigging live, so I wonder for what it is?
@wilsenssessions52152 жыл бұрын
I must of mis spoke. The cub pro is great for practice at 120w and for live shows you can add a second cab at 240w and DI into the PA for live situations. It’s also has a function for adding a Earbox to the setup. This is a perfect solution.

@wilsenssessions52153 жыл бұрын
I'm sure it would work but not as cost effective, stacking two BG 120 will get you 240w for $1400 or just add the C-2 for 240w for $1050

@wilsenssessions52152 жыл бұрын
The Warwick is a non color preamp. The ampeg has the “ampeg” tone. Depends on the preference. I love clean and clear amps so I would go with Warwick or a Phil jones bass amp and use a “color” preamp pedal

What was it like at retaining that bottom end? Or do you lose most of it?

When you get everything setup in the Tonematch, does it "remember" when you unplug it? Does it have battery. Are the combo XLR - 1/4 inch inputs are the 1/4 inch tip/ring stereo or mono? I 'guess" you can select an input channel and adjust the "tonematch" settings and then select a different channel? What are you adjusting the input channels?
@LestatLioncourtIMVU4 жыл бұрын
@@santafemikez9694 I tested the Bose and it didn't have any or much bottom end. I ended up with the EV Evolve 50 for much less money and twice the sound. The "Tone Match" is built-in and has many more options.

Do you have to have a tonematch to be able to use your bass or can it be plugged into any regular mixer like mine BEHRINGER
@wilsenssessions52156 жыл бұрын
Sure - you can run an analog mixer to the Model II analog input. You don't need a "a stereo to trs 1/4" cable output from the left and right channels of my mixer to input on the TRS input on the L1 model II?" You can probably just pan all the inputs to one side (for example LEFT) and then take the LEFT output to the Model II Power Stand. The only wrinkle would be if you are using a stereo source like a CD player into a stereo input that *cannot* be panned. You can still work around that if you have enough channels in your mixer to use two ordinary channels that *can* be panned. Please tell us more about your mixer (make/model) and the inputs and we can walk through this with you if you like.

Thank you for getting back to me, I didn't think I would get an answer. I went to my local BOSE yesterday with questions and one was about the Ethernet AC power system, and I understand I could use it if I had other speakers instead of BOSE set up. I still would like to get some " hands on". I'm so afraid of not getting it set back to where I have it set at. Thank you again!
@arlenemac167 жыл бұрын
I'm a little confused when I saw you talking about the Ethernet power system you plug into the wall to power up the Tonematch. I have the cable that both ends are Ethernet, one goes to my BOSE system speaker and the other end goes into my Bose T1 Tonematch. When would I use just the Ethernet AC power system? Thanks, I enjoyed your video. I've been using BOSE for quite some time and wish I had a one on one to learn how and when to use all it has to offer.
@wilsenssessions52157 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the question. The T1 mixer has an extra peripheral that will allow you to use a power supply instead of the Ethernet for power so you can use the T1 as a regular mixer on other systems. www.ebay.com/itm/182615411339

You say..."Your other plug, right here" @ 4:26 in the video. You mean the power plug for the L1 unit? What are you talking about? Please don't say "the other plug" I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE OTHER PLUG IS. Please describe it properly. Also, what's the difference between the wires needed for the regular L1 and the Compact. The power supply looks like it would be the same and the trs connector between the Tone Match and the L1 seems like it would be the same also. what's the difference. This is the second video I've watched and I'm still confused.
@Tom345guitar7 жыл бұрын
I have a L1 Compact. I can't understand the explanation about the wires needed. None of the connectors shown in the video would plug in to my L1 Compact. What are you talking about??? Are you talking about a power supply or a connection between the Tone Match and the L1 unit? And if it's the latter why would it have to be powered? I watched this video because I was seriously thinking of buying one now I'm so confused I think I need to wait till someone can explain this in understandable language.
@wilsenssessions52157 жыл бұрын
use a regular speaker cable to go out of main master out of the T1 to the channel you want for the compact. when you do that connection, you have to buy a ac adaptor from bose or www.ebay.com/itm/BOSE-POWER-SUPPLY-T1-Tone-match-115-230V-/272659516393?hash=item3f7bc60be9:g:6u0AAOSwONBZDSQY normally the T1 is power via ethernet cable to the base unit of the model !! and the model S. The compact needs you to use a AC adaptor. sorry for the late response
