The Uncut version of the film isnt too bad that comes with the German DVD. Much prefer the Beijing hotel opening with the riot.

The funniest part is that the computer sequences are rather faithful to the Gibson's writing (however he concieved them over a decade before this movie's release)

@@zsewqthewolf1194 I guess I wasn't very clear haha I wasn't refering to using literal phone line infrastructure. I was refering to how he "dials" into a computer to connect to it. Imagine having today's critical internet infrastructure disabled because someone picked up the phone

@@catmage ah yes that, well to be fair on there part the internet was kept being hold back by the very same ISP and phone people as well. the reason we didn't have smartphones in the 90s because of those mobile company say and its real "we don't want to cell this because it will cut into oursells of our phones"

The security method in this was very prophetic: Our phones now got the option for the dot drawing, and I am sure once we do get ready and inconwpicuous acces to vr we will be using 3 dimensional "locks" like this to access our encrypted data.
