Don't know if you ever sorted it out I had it on a cbr125r led indicators way I did it was very simple I put lights in the dash one on each side somthe hole thing lights up when turning and as for the single dash lght still working as it now a hazard light one a separate switch it was a win win for me as I was going to do it anyway I do it to all my bikes that come in its the little things that help when need it

Apparently (I think) you can also add a diode on the two wires up to your dash light display, so that the current is not flowing across to the indicator lights on the other side of the bike from there.
