You people are part of the problem. How can you say ALL candidates were in support of subsidy removal. That IS A BIG FAT LIE!!!. You guys didnt pay attention to all the candidates or gave all the candidates a chance and you expect the country to be better. Sowore was NEVER NEVER NEVER in support of the subsidy. I always say we all know exactly what we are doing in this country. If we truly want a change and a country, we all know what to do and see. Those that voted sowore last election are the only ones that can truly beat their chest and be happy with their decision. I sympathize with you Nigerians protesting bad governance. We had the same thing here in Kenya not too long ago. The president fired the entire cabinet, rehired half of them, and neutralized the opposition by giving them the remaining half of the slots. Now the opposition is beholden to him. Basically, he aikido'd everyone just when we thought progress had been made. Many people died during the protests; and for what? Has the country’s DNA really changed? I understand anyone who’s fed up with the continent and wants to japa. Unfortunately, as Lolu said, you’re also not wanted in the West-just look at what’s happening in the UK right now with the riots against immigrants. This will continue to spread across Europe and the US. Africa is going to have to wake up and focus, or it'll be a lifetime of misery for the masses; the wealthy will be just fine.

I understand Tolani’s point but his argument is still flawed. Some people vote because they’re prioritizing the wellbeing of the collective over personal wellbeing. Tinubu voters prioritized their personal gain over that of the collective, in the short term. It isn’t the same thing.

Yes. But you need to also understand that for someone to qualify to be called a patriot who has voted for the betterment of the country over his personal good, needs to have known that the emergence of that candidate will definitely affect his/her livelihood directly before he voted not after. There are people that did this, but they are very few. Hence what tolani is saying about most people voting for their own betterment.

ODUMODUBLVCK was clearly ignorant 4rm d tweets & loud Abt it. He acted very immature & I think Mo doesn't want to say it, being his guy & I get it. I was disappointed to say the least that day on Twitter, cos I expected a better way at handling situations like that. I mean, for a 30 year old man, OD sounds rather not smart almost every time he speaks. He makes good music, but very ignorant on matters generally. I his team need to vet his opinions sometimes, hence I fear he may end up being his own undoing.

I also need to add that u guys aren't being fair on "Nigerians". Granted, I know Nigerians don't read that much and argue blindly, cos going through the RIAA website properly, u will even know that the Plagues aren't free. But let's be sincere, these ignorance majorly stem from the artists themselves whom more often than not are as ignorant as their Stans. That day on X OD already insinuated that they shld send plagues to the main producer, this meant he himself didn't know that they are paid for before one receives them. So wat were u guys expecting from his average "Herd Stans" to say ? If OD knew that they were paid for, that matter won't even be an issue at all on X that very day. Then also I think Mo shld take it easy on the insults on Nigerians, it comes off to me like that is the easier target wen u didn't insult OD too for being just as ignorant as fans.

Tolani you were referring to Jimi Disu. Maybe you can have this radio conversation with him if he agrees to come of the show. He might love the drink as well. It will be nice to have an older perspective on this because they are the OGs and most likely will be the one restraining this Radio evolution. It will be nice to know why. Maybe look for a Gen z radio personnel to balance the conversation.
