I accidentally dropped my pixel 4a into my pool. I let it dry then tried to open it. I charged and it did open but when I was leaving my phone there and went to sleep, the next day I found out that it was completely dead. I tried everything but nothing would work. Pls let me know what’s wrong? Is it related to the hardware?

Make sure the Date and Time is correct. Go to Settings, General Management, Date and Time and set it at the correct Month. Day, Year, and Time. Fixed my issue multiple times
