do people get fined for this? Unfortunately culture and education plays a huge role here.

Blessings and congrats Mr. Evans.✝ I'm relieved to hear a top priority is carrying out Mayor Turner’s vision of making neighborhood parks more accessible and invitiing to all. Friends of Northline SparkPark will be reaching out soon about Northline Park. Due to greenpark luxury home construction on Parker Rd, Metro's #96 bus on Nordling corridor now turns several blocks early skipping the only park in our parks desert! We'll be getting a new council member H to talk about this in 2024 and also just rebuilt our super neighborhood Northline chapter to offer 60k resident stakeholders in 4 zip codes a seat at the table instead of a place on the menu!

I want to learn more about the science and math of the structure. You also show an image of a performer underneath... Does it also have something to assist with the sound?

It's really pleasant I just realized to see people of color in a video like this just being normal people without it being shoved down my throat like some kind of agenda! This might sound weird but it reminds me of living on the streets where you can ask anyone doesn't matter their color or if they look scary or not for a cigarette and if they say no tell them you got fifty cents and almost all the time they say yes! Even better it usually starts up a conversation that is almost always awesome. 😊 This might sound even weirder but there have been times where I was glad I was homeless on the streets because racism doesn't really exist there and I can get a break from it!!!!! For most of us life is just too hard to care about that on the streets. Thank the Lord and thank you guys for this video I appreciate it

Amazing. I brought my daughter to this place this morning. It is mind blowing that Houston finally has such a top notch community park with such integrated offering to its neighbors on sports, health, well being, education catering for ages from toddler to the seniors. When I went to west coast visiting friends, I envy their weather (little we could do here in Houston :)) and nice public park and facilities. Now I have to say with Alief neighborhood community center park and hopefully more of such to come in Houston, we become the sample for other cities to follow. One of the few times I felt tax payers money well spent. Kudos to all who made this park a reality🎉.

It's sad to see how this is done here smh ONE BUCKET OF FISH!?!? With the park not being kept up or treated as a fishing area. No pier or no signs that fish even exist here. In Pasadena at Burke Crenshaw park on the other hand, gets stocked plenty of times throughout the trout season. The park has signs for fishing and has a pier. Clean for the most part. Sad sad what city leaders do to the low income parts of town. I go fishing all over Houston and surrounding areas. This is a shame to what parks like in Baytown or Mount Bellview have to offer. Good job to the Texas Parks and WildLife, wish they could help THE GHETTO PARKS or someone should.

Reading the comments, it sounds like some Disc Golfers are interested in working out the dynamics these trees can bring to the park. We witnessed the destruction of courses at McGreggor, Milby and Buffalo Bayou (Jim Mozola) by ways of various things such as tree planting and renovations... Do you have any commitment to those who are in the sport and help bring dollars to local areas through tournaments and shops that open to support the sales of discs? I would also guess that alot of those parks were unwanted and unclean until the Disc Golfers came in and helped keep it up and make it useful... Albeit, just so some skate park, jogging park, bike route or Soccer field (which there are almost too many of) could be dumped right into the best parts of the parks.
