An outstanding adaptation of the book 'The Price of Salt' written by Patricia Highsmith's pseudonym Claire Morgan....as an older lesbian it was one of the first books that didn't end tragically. Cate Blanchett is mesmerizing and Rooney Mara an excellent entre nous. Then add in Sarah Paulson. Amazing.

This is one of the films that is supposed to show the chemistry between two actresses who played homosexual people in only one film. A film dedicated to non-heteronormative people. Charming. I'm sorry ladies who are fascinated by this film, but both actresses are declared heterosexuals and only played lesbian roles for the film.
