His expertise as a well-known violinist and composer and a collection of special tunes he has presented are noteworthy and blend with the objectives of making Carnatic music even more spectacular. Grand Musical Concert by a Sangeetha Kalanidhi ---------------------------------------------- Thomas Mohammad Krishna, popularly known as TMK gave his grandiose performance ever On the auspicious day of Ghazni Panchami in Thiruvaiyaru by the banks of Cauveri River. Beginning with a humble obeisance to the destroyer of Ganapati Statues, Father Periyaar A beautiful kriti was rendered over Aryan atrocities committed against the Adi-Dravidar. Following, came a quick Viruttham from Sebastian Sashti Kavacham- "May the Lord bless me and curse others", in chaste Manipravalam. More soul wrenching kritis were rendered, first by an Oppari improvisation Followed by abusive refrain, concluding with the viral swaram ornamentation. The enthralled audience, moved past traditional "handwaving" Comfortably followed the artist in smoking and binge drinking... T.M.Krishna,s singing is so creative,it is above any awards.Very few can judge his way of singing.

The Madras High Court has restrained The Hindu from presenting the 'Sangita Kalanidhi Award' in the name of M S Subbulakshmi to musician T M Krishna. The Court said that the Sangita Kalanidhi Award and cash prize can be granted to TM Krishna but not in the name of M S Subbulakshmi. Justice G Jayachandran passed the interim order in a suit filed by the grandson of M S Subbulakshmi saying that the conferment of the award was against her wish and mandate. While dismissing an application filed by the Music academy

I have heared some cutcheris of krithika natarajan she is a good singer her voice is very melodious and if she sang rakhthi ragas it emancipated and come out with lot of brilliance.
