Thank you. I've had this Shark vacuum for a few months now, and could not figure out how to use the Lift-Away mode. Today, thanks to you, I was able to get to all those places in between the furniture and end tables. Your video is very well done.

I picked up a Shark RV750 robot vacuum out of eBay a couple of weeks ago, and all I had to do was to replace the battery. Anyways, I thought that the Shark RV750 robot vacuum was supposed to automatically return to the charging dock after the battery had run out. Instead, this Shark RV750 robot vacuum didn't even seen to recognize the charging dock as it would consistently bump into it like it was just another obstacle. When the battery did run out, the blue blinking LED on the left side would change to a blinking red LED, and then the robot would simply stop. By the way, are the charging docks identical for both the Shark RV750 and RV750N robot vacuums? If not, that might explain the problem (as all of the charging docks that I have seem to be designed for the Shark RV750N models). Well, all of my three Shark RV750N robot vacuums automatically return to the charging dock after their batteries lose their charge. Any thoughts? Thanks. Edit: I spoke with a Shark customer representative today, and we both decided that the motherboard was defective. Well, Shark is sending me a refurbished Shark RV750 robot vacuum free of charge.

I bought 3 CordZero at Costco for my extended family. In under 3 years all the batteries crapped out. Luckily costco lets you return them years later even without a box.

Do you have to hold the wand release button and pull with the other hand? With the models with the release on the back in a different kind of clip, you must hold it in like opening the jaw and pull up with the other hand simultaneously. It creates a bad back injury. I clean and use that wand constantly every day. The modles with the push in button on top holds itself so i don't have to hold and pull.

Thank you for showing how the wand releases. I can never see that on the Amazon pics and videos. Need to buy a new one but won't be this one unfortunately cause I really wanted it.

Save yourself some money and buy the base vacuum and just purchase the attachments you need separately. I got the base got 2 free attachments bought 2 extra and paid $349 instead of the $549 . Got all the attachments we would ever need .

I own this vacuum and regret it. Many issues including after 11 months the brush roll has stopped working. Shark designs their machines to not be repairable like other brands. Ask ANY vacuum repair company about Sharks and they will have a lot to say about it. I would not buy another Shark just based on the way they make self-repair so difficult. They want you to just buy another new one for $200 and throw your old one away. This is one of the reasons why we have a plastic waste problem.

Everyone knows the V15 is a good vacuum. All the other reviews just keep ranting about how good it is and they talk about all of the features without saying anything about the bad. They're all the same. Being different in a sea of the same garbage is what makes things valuable.

EXCELLENT review... eloquent & accurate, with many details. You're, nowdays, a rarity on KZbin - most KZbinrs are overly positive, "happy-happy-happy", until after you bought and discover many adverse realities. Thank you for your time and effort to explain and demonstrate. You are the BEST!!

Thank you SO very much for your video!! It truly helped me understand this vacuum cleaner and all its additional features. There's only one thing I would like to suggest to the people that bought this vacuum cleaner and it is to use some of the cardboard that comes inside the box to put it inside the bag that Dyson has provided for the accessories. Putting some cardboard inside this bag helps to make the bag sturdy (it will help so that the bag can stand on its own) and it also helps to find (and to see) the different attachments more clearly when they are inside the bag . When I first put the attachments inside the bag, it was difficult for me to find each of the attachments. Now that I put the cardboard inside the bag- and due to the cardboard's lighter color- now it is easier for me to find the attachments. And of course, the fact that the bag now stands on its own makes it easier to carry it wherever I am vacuuming.

Guys listen to the reviews. I just bought the v12 detect and it has the same issue that you, and many people online/on KZbin have reported about it with all the cordless Dyson models. The brush motor roller just stops working when on my high pile carpet. I’ve even heard people having issues on door mats and corridor mats. Seems like Dyson help is to tell us to use our £500+ vacuums on its lowest settings which is nonsensical. How about they design a product which actually justifies the high price. “engineered and tested to effectively clean a wide variety of floor coverings, including different types and lengths of carpeting”. Sure..

New to Dyson but just bought a v15 detect. A couple things I learned for others debating between the two There are $10 trigger locks for the v15 that change it to on/off instead of the pull trigger. They slide right on with no modification. So if the trigger is holding you back, there’s a solution. The v12 being a slim model doesn’t work with all heads from other models. If you have multiple dysons it may be worth consideration. I contemplated returning the v15 for the v12 but really like the extra size bin and extra power. I’m a 40yo guy that stands 6’3 but also has a bad back and carpel tunnel in my right hand. I would definitely appreciate a lighter model but the v15 has been great so far. Might get one of the smaller models later on for daily use and keep the v15 for full house cleans. Costco has the v15 on sale often for around $550 usd with 90 day returns.
