Excellent work. Good to see these classic machines getting some love. Brings back my apprenticeship days setting up and selling these things from new. Only thing different I’d have done would’ve been taking the loader off and refurbishing it separately. These never came from Ford like that, loaders were a dealer fit option, same as the service that ran it

This is a bit late, but I’m glad to see a more recent video with the pumpkin! This is such a great event to hear about, and I’m really glad to see you’re still out driving this car! This car, and your story were an inspiration to me, and still are. Keep it up, you’re doing great things with this event!

Do you have the exact dimensions of the rims and tires? Also curious where you purchased the turf tires and rims.

First sled i saw as a kid that I really thought was cool. 340 with twin carbs, it will get you where you want to go with plenty of speed. 40mph is plenty fast for me

Thanks for the video , good job. I am 68 and when I was about 12 or so my Dad had a D12. Are you absolutely sure those front wheels are original? Because I remember different.

Just picked up a 1310 out in the mountains in Massachusetts. She's a great little runner but I seem to have a hydraulic issue putting a load on the engine when the 3pt is up. That load causes hard starts and loss of power. I went thru every part of the tractor except for the control valve under the seat and that is next since I noticed the arms doing this little up and down dance only with a load on them. Even pulled injectors and I found one the heat shields was completely missing every fuel line was loose someone adjusted the throttle linkages and they were so far out of adjustment she shut off at half throttle. Man she's been a chore but I got her for the most part I just got that one issue left to figure out and I did completely disassemble the pump lines and power steering. Filter was clean fluid had a small amount of moisture. I also had to order all but 2 motor mount bolts because the rest were somehow missing and that was a task to get them lined up.

Are you interested in selling the tires, rims & center wheel hubs you took off your 1710? If so I would be interested in purchasing them. I have turf tires now & want to switch to lug wheels & tires for using my 1710 to plant crops but need better traction as I do not have front wheel assist.

Wow, I never knew that IH made refrigerators before I watched this video! BTW, that engine bay is really a sight to behold: very clean, tidy, and functional. Chromed out engine bays just don't appeal to me; I prefer plain and simple. Thanks for sharing!

I have a 1951 IH fridge that my grandpa bought new, then my dad owned it and now I own it. It has been running flawlessly for 71 years. The only thing I’ve done to it, is repaint it and replace the door seal. It’s a incredible unit.
