Is the optimum D/D ratio changed if a cable only travels around a pulley 90 degrees rather than 180 degrees. Thx, Tom Fisher

Tom, thanks for the comment! For lifting, D/D is only applied at 180 degrees. 90 degrees would only be redirecting the force.

How do you adjust a telescoping push pull has a 3" travel. I am guessing where the 2 nuts clamp to mounting bracket before the telescoping tip? If its slacking should you pull the cable further from the part you are trying to Engauge? the front most nut being et the end of the threads and having all the threads behind the 2 nuts? Or the very tip solid 4mm rod thats threaded and connects the clevis bracket?

What coating is more durable on gym equipment that goes around several 6" pulleys? Vinyl or nylon?
@carlstahlsavaindustries2 жыл бұрын
Hi Nathan. Thank you for the questions and sorry for the delayed reply. Of the two options, nylon is best for cable to go over pulleys. We are making a video on coated cable in the next month. Be sure to subscribe, so you don't miss it!
