Doing awesome for 100 days. I’m sure at 100 days I wasn’t nearly as used to power chords as you seem to be. Keep it up dude, also great tones

Do you know that puppets war recorded in studio much slower then it was published :) almost 1/2 slower
@getbetter5907Ай бұрын
Seriously decent dude especially for less than 100 days. A metronome or playing songs on rocksmith working up to full speed will help a ton with timing. Also working out your forearms will massively increase your speed/accuracy and stamina. Keep up the great work bro \m/

Great! I would recommend trying out first paying songs in 50% and then after every perfect play rise by like 5%, I think that Riff Repeater ha something like this and I recommend first trying song that is slower and easier but still excellent job!

Okay this question might be a pain in the ass to answer but, how did you manage to record Rocksmith's in-game audio?

Fuck me, took me like an hour to figure out, i'll try to remember it off the top of my head in windows go to Sound>Playback>"Your headset/speaker">Properties>Advanced>Uncheck "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device">Apply>Ok I think that worked for me i don't really remember, let me know if it works.

Is this rocksmith and would you recommend it for learning guitar
@bebemanden3 ай бұрын
Yessir this is Rocksmith it is too early for me to recommend it to anyone, but i will say that it should be viewed as a very efficient tool to memorize the fretboard and beeing comfortable with a guitar, i am so glad i pulled the trigger on a guitar and this game. There is still so much to learn besides mimicking my favourite songs. So in my non professional opinion i think you should do it.
@_danvasco3 ай бұрын
Not really, you should learn the basics first. Rocksmith is great for learning playing along to songs, it doesn’t teach you guitar at all. Technique is everything when it comes to playing guitar, for that, watch lessons on KZbin or find people in your area to hangout with and learn from them👍 I tried rocksmith back when I had just started guitar and I didnt even know how to fret notes down properly or good posture to make playing easier or anything, I had a really bad time
@_danvasco3 ай бұрын
Damn why did I type all that
@CrimsonSpider3 ай бұрын
@@_danvasco Exactly. I've been playing for just a little over a year now and I had to go to youtube to figure out a lot of these things but it is fun to learn some songs off of Rocksmith when the notes are actually correct. @bebemanden Make sure to look up how to get custom songs from Custom Forge on youtube so you can add other songs you like. Let's say hypothetically there might be a way to get all of the dlc songs as well but like... I wouldn't know that's a thing. I'd still recommend rocksmith for playing along to... or if you don't have an audio-interface and don't want to annoy people with an amp.

So yeah, really good work here, big progress compared to the first day, as much as I want to say that "yeah keep up and you will rock on" from my experience rocksmith get you so far till being just a crippling, I very much recommend it but only as a additional help and not as a replacement for 'real teacher'. If you really like guitar but it feels to you like you are not making that much of a progress I highly recommend finding a teacher, I thanks to getting guitar lessons I was able form playing 0-3-5 esq stuff to play real songs fully
@bebemanden3 ай бұрын
A real teacher is 100% the right thing to do, i feel like Rocksmith is a great tool for learning to memorize the fretboard and get comfortable with a guitar, i will for sure get private tutoring when i feel the time is right. They do cost around $50/h here in Denmark, so my question is how many lessons do you think i should have a month?
@KarloxDarkOG3 ай бұрын
@@bebemanden okay, I have them on a weekly basis and for me it goes very well, right amount of time between lessons to work through most of the stuff, but problem for me was that I have a lot of stuff to do and I can't get to practice, so the main factor is how many times do you have a situation in which you can't practice, if a lot then I would recommend a every 2nd week, if rarely then weekly should go well, also I got very lucky because of that I live in Poland and found guitarist country wide popular, which for USA players is much harder to find a musician like this, I think in Denmark it would be comparable situation, but yeah going back to the topic, weekly or every 2nd week is best

Its easy to get discouraged and quit. But I got a remedy for that. Your very first day of playing, record yourself. Its very important. Just like video recording yourself. But stash it somewhere or have a friend hold onto it for you. Because there will be times that you feel youre not gainng ground. That's simply not true. The learning process is so gradual you dont notice. So when you feel like giving up, watch that video or listen to that tape. I promise you, you'll see the difference.
