We've been to Letchworth and agree with you that it is well worth the stop. You had some great footage of the falls and the foliage when you went back. BTW, what was that thing on the hood of your truck at 11:50?

LOL - I get that question every time I use that camera angle. They are off road lights. They are aimed to the side of the road and are very helpful for when we pull into a campground at night. I also have additional lights on the side of the rack and under the rear bumper that light up the campsite when unhitching or hitching.

Letchworth is a NY treasure. Thanks for showing us the fall foliage. Beautiful shots but my favorite was seeing Diane's hair coming back in. I was so happy to see this step in the right direction!!!! One of our first RV camping trips was to Letchworth - early one summer season -- temperature was in the nineties We enjoyed brunch in the (air-conditioned) Glen Iris home/restaurant. Maybe while Diane is re-cooperating you should indulge in the occasional restaurant review. We hope to retire soon but so far have mostly been camping weekends so the state parks are hard to book. We are looking forward to mid-week camping at the state parks. So I was interested to see empty sites in your opening.

LOL = This video was shot the day before Diane broke her heal. The good news is after 6 weeks of using crutches, she can finally walk with out them - but she will have the boot on for a few more weeks.

Get well soon! I had a trailer washing accident on Memorial Day that caused us to cancel 2 months of camping reservations. A walker does fit in the hall of our 23’ so we didn’t lose the whole summer.

Thank you, Diane is healing up quickly. Through all of her medical issues, she still feels the Airstream is her happy place. Whether it’s the short distance to the bathroom during the night or the seat in the shower. We also found a way to continue to get out camping during her recovery.

We have to spend the nigh in a state and engage in some sort of activity unique to the state. It also has to include the Airstream - although that may make Hawaii difficult. I guess we will cross that bridge when we get to it. 😀😂🤣😅

Our visit to Niagara Falls had us staying on the Canada side at the KOA. It was convenient being only a few minutes from the waterfront. We did take the boat ride and enjoyed it very much. The walk on the American side gives me a reason to go back and stay there. The campground looks very nice and at a good price.

Watching the video with Diane before we posted it we both agreed that we need to ride the Maid of the Mist next year. I guess it just one of those things that when you live local you never thing of doing.😟

@@cbdane We have to sleep in the camper in that state to put a sticker on it. In most state we are doing much more than that but the official BBB rule is one night in the state in the camper.

One of the best videos I've seen on South Pass CIty. My great grandfather, great grand uncle and my grandfather all worked in the mines of what was at one time called "The Atlantic--South Pass District"; which includes Atlantic City and Miners Delight. I''ve written about it my family book.

My dad has a 1973 mustang convertible with the 351 cleavland motor in it. I have a 2008 mustang coupe with the 4.0 v6. It's all I need. Not a huge fan of the brand new automobiles. Found your channel when I was camping at 4 mile creek state park this year. Safe travels.

Did you get rid of the Mustang? It looks like a nice Super Coupe. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it. We had a 66 Mustang that we would tool around in but we sold it a number of years ago.

We visited Watkins Glen this past summer and it's a really beautiful area. We loved the falls hike, but we didn't browse around the town much. We realize now our mistake and we need to return 🙄. It seems like fall is a nice time to visit upstate NY. Diane - you look terrific! 🎉

Watkins Glenn and Finger Lakes is one our favorite places. We have been numerous times, but never with the Airstream. It is on our list to go back! How amazing that the town was having an Ovarian Cancer ribbon drive, when Diane is a survivor of this same cancer!! 😍 We've been to the marina! Great to see Diane enjoying the day! We were at Watkins Glen a last month, right before the NASCAR event. Stayed at Watkins Glen State Park, camping in our RV. Very nice stay, lovely park, but we blew right past the entrance which is right in town, lol. Thanks for the nice tour!

Sometimes those additional issues can be a difficult challenge when healing. Glad to hear that Diane completed the cancer treatments. Hang in there and keep progressing with your health. We stayed at the Niagara Falls KOA on the Canada side when we were up there. Take care.
