It’s killing me right now. I get stuck in this feeling not feeling satisfaction to do anything and don’t feel motivated or feel any satisfaction from anything it sucks

Thing that isn't clear on this is the routing between GP and your Daw... If it's using the loopback on the RME, then there's no way you can set the latency in the daw high without the same happening in Gig performer, no? So this enables you to monitor a chain in GP live while adding effects that incur addional latency in your daw, which is cool, but all the fiddling around with the interface latency at the start is just to demo what latency feels like, not to suggest you can run your DAW at a high latency and GP at a low one... or am I missing something? Either way, nice idea for when live tracking on a mix session is required.

Sorry sir, I am a Reason user in South Africa and we listen mainly to Amapiano music. The log drum and bass response from FL Studio is a very serious deep end. No DAW can reproduce that low end. Reason sounds more clearer and music but that low end on FL Studio is mind crazy. Please try it on Abelton that you will understand. Reason sound way better and less fatigued in comparison to FL Studio.

I know what you mean , but it’s harder than you think , or I’m simply over complicating it

Decap, donuts here 😂. Is there a specific saturator or that you like to use for this?

It's a great trick. I'm doing a TV theme now and the engineer insists I put everything into mono including effects. It really forces me anyway, to write good parts. The final product will be stereo of course.
@SaltSpirits4 күн бұрын
you use saturation to keep things from clipping, i abuse it to make things clip, we are not the same (i am mentally ill)

Stability. Latency. Sound. Routing. Durability. RME user for many years 💛💙 Only ARC USB is disappointing. Flimsy keys (one is broken here already), titles are erased very fast if you touch it with your fingers. And effects are crappy. BTW don't forget to update your Total Mix FX to use Room EQ and crossfade.

every fucking producer i met will say "nah man you need at least like 50 tracks, a shit ton of switch ups, at least 30 effects for mixing and 10 3rd party mastering plugins that each costs over 200 bucks" nobody gets what i try to tell em, but you get it bro

this simply is just a gimmick im convinced, how does the apple music version of a song sound so shitty and compressed while claiming its lossless “24bit-88.2 kHz” compared to the same song on Qobuz with the same sample rate and it sounds 1000x better on every system and environment ive tried both platforms on?

i find gain stagin useful so i dont trick myself into thinking that something that sounds louder is better, because, a lot of times, when you think a plugin is improving your sound, its just making it louder, and when you gain match it, its not really doing anything

wrong -if u don’t use a vu meter in everything i mean everything except mastering you r in deep sh1t my friend
@jaytriple7_10 күн бұрын
Do you get everything peaking at 0db?
@numero-_-uno9 күн бұрын
@@jaytriple7_ dowload a VU meter (mvMeter2-free plugin) calibrate it at -14db to show 0 -(basically watch tutorials on how to mix with VU meters ) then after you learn gain stage everything with this technique and before mastering you have room to even soft clip the master and limit the hell out of it ... VU meters for mixing always !

Im just coming from a 2020 Intel Mac to a M3 Max with 64 gigs of ram ...going on two months now , I got the one with 40 GPU cores because I do video, after effects work and C4D stuff....and I have to say this computer is game changing for real! I definitely had to get used to not hearing the fan noise lol. Ive been using Macs since the G4 came out and the fan noise was something I always hated but had no choice but to deal with it, Ive only heard the fans kick in once and it was while doing some intense After effects work with a lot of layers and intense plugins generation particles, noise , etc and it wasn't that loud....I never had them turn on while doing audio production, Apple created beast with these M series Macs!
