I think any drama educator would tell you..rules..there are no rules in drama..lol..but really, rules are not as important as play ..so relax and enjoy it anyway you want! But specifically I don't know of any in particular...

We played this but its different its called Assassins the teacher pick the assassins on the shoulder the the townspeople wake up the assassins wink at one person gotta wait 10 seconds then they die we gotta raise our hands to pick that person on trial that we think that killed that person if get wrong you die

Also there is many different ways to play the game I personally play it a different way but I have played it a lot of different ways also just a suggestion for storytellers say why the person wasn’t saved and who really was saved like oh ____ wasn’t saved bc the doctor were saving _____ who has a cold
