Nice work! I have some Reflectix that i should probably use to make somethign like this for the camping pots/cups I own. You're gonna need to bring one of those stickers to the Frozen Butt Hang. I want one for my gallon metal thermos jug. (Remember how we didn't have liquid water last time? This time we will.)

I'm really impressed with how well you cooked a steak on that thing. I've boiled water on one of those, but never cooked on it. Also funny that you had a whole-assed camp fire right next to it that you could have cooked the steak on...lol.

@@LousyFIBs yeah ironic.. some times I prefer not to lean over to the ground to cook. I have even been known to put a flat rock on top of the stick stove. I am out to enjoy it. The campfire was nice, though. Thanks for treating me like a friend and beating me up with the irony. Haha. 🤣

Man what a beautiful place! Makes me jelly man.. your food always looks so good too... you're so patient when you cook and it seems to pay off.. Sometimes I use that Frito cheese jalapeno dip and mix it with Rotel and turkey meat for a good dip

@@TheBaldBandeto thanks for watching. Glad it helps you. A dog leash anchor would certainly work. I have used various methods including tying to base of a small tree and screw-in anchors. I have found it takes less to hold it than I thought. You may consider looking on Amazon for “ orange screw ground anchors “. What you need depends on your ground: sand, clay wet soil, etc. good luck. Let me know what you come up with.

Great vid! Love the rig. Excellent instructions on how you made it. Way cheaper (and probably waaaay lighter) than the one I made. Fire pit was nice too! And i'm totally jealous of your grapes. my grandma had those in her yard. It was awesome to just reach out and grab a snack. Are yours the kind with the thick skin? Love those.

The first time I repelled was at boot camp. I got told what to do, asked if I understood & replied yes, next thing you know, two drill instructors shoved me off. Great times & those kids will remember this trip forever.

@@OzarkGuy this was the second batch and the third ones were perfection. Also made pancakes from a strawberry muffin mix. Baking takes practice and you can’t get distracted while baking. Getting coals right is the tricky part.

Okay that one plant that you said ain't good... The yellow looking one, I can't remember the name... Why is it not good? Is it poisonous? So many of those scenes remind me of the lake in Mayberry North Carolina on The Andy Griffith show! Such a good feeling! The river was amazing! Nice stove and Saw! I got a really interesting grill for cheap on Amazon. the whole thing fit in a tube. Great for backpacking. tried it once and it warped so bad I was never able to fit everything back in the tube. At least your stove held its shape.
