No, depending on version of Race Mapping PRO, tires, ambient conditions, RP DTC setting, ... It's only a number - I start high and toggle down as far as needed.

Nice work Rainer - would love to see some throttle vs lean vs DTC overlays. I see you're getting large spikes in DTC at high lean on the dash. How do you know when the TC is set right? Can I know from the data? (2D Datalogger is installed).

Thanks Alex 🙏. Yes, this time without overlavs - but we definately will do them again. The large sparks comes because we want the DTC to be present from the very first beginning. I know I'm right from: a) I clearly can feel and hear cuts and don't feel a holding back, b) behavior over lean angle stays constant, c) I have trust to open throttle and let system do the work ☺. Hi Alex, thanks for the positive feedback on this video. DTC is at 12 and bike is equipped with Race Mapping Pro C (V2025 development). Split throttle is part of C variant and so it is operating and can be heard in part load situations. DTC is not using split throttle it’s using cut pattern and is a bit hard to hear in video as it is mounted in front an operation is meanwhile much finer than in older versions of Race Mapping Pro. Hopefully i was able to answer this question satisfyingly? BR Rainer

Yes, this correct. The automatically shown parameters are work-settings from the PC software. BR

You ask about split throttle operation? No, the RR from 2010-2018 have an all 4 cylinder joint throttle body.

Hi what is the cost and where are you located? I am in the UK and could possible visit your workshop. I have a RnineT scrambler 2021 euro5 with abs pro but it does not have dynamic pro or msc, Only rain and Road, does that matter.

Interesting that you didn’t use first gear at all. I guess you are using different gearing than standard for this track? I went there for the first time recently and enjoyed the circuit a lot. Maybe you didn’t go down to first simply because you are going quite a bit faster than me. 😂

Yes we used a shorter gearing here. It is always recommended to use a short gearing with the BMW bikes - riding is much better with shortened gearing because of the torque shape of this bikes.

Hallo, ja alle unsere Mapping sind sowohl für Rennstreckenanlagen (R/C-Version) als auch Serienabgasanlagen (S-Version) erhältlich. Die CUTs der DTC sind durch die bessere Geräuschdämpfung der Serienabgasanlage natürlich nicht so deutlich hörbar aber die Funktionsweise ist identisch. VG Rainer

Großartig..Hier kann man alles perfekt raushören, zum einen die selektive Zylinder Ausblendung, aber dann auch noch wie in die Zündung rein geregelt wird. Das ist Musik in meinen Ohren, fantastisch

Rechtlich müsste je nach Zeitpunkt entweder der Garatiegeber oder der Garantienehmer nachweisen, dass der Schaden im Zusammenhang mit der Änderung steht. Sprich, ja es kann sein, dass komponentenabhängig keine Kulanz gewährt wird.

I have heard of guys doing split throttle bodies on the bmw and complaining that you have to go full gas mid corner to get the bike to go anywhere when the throttle splits because of major lack of power during that instant, which is strange to do as we have learned over the years to slowly bring up the gas. Do you have any comments on that? Thank you
