Frandor was a giant part of my childhood. We lived in married student housing on the MSU campus. I don't remember the details you do, but it will always be a warm memory.

I grew up in the 80's and remember going with my mom a lot and buying my first cassette tape 'Flashdance" at Woolworths. Those were good times...I miss it.

We had a location on Central Ave in Yonkers, NY, back in the 60's and 70's. Us kids would hear the commercials on 77WABC in New York and bug our parents all the time to buy us some.

Hey Tom, you're too young to remember those commercials from the early 1960's singing: "...so don't cook tonight - call Chicken Delight " ! I'd never heard of 'Fast' Food or 'Take-out' like this sung on TV commercials before that delivered to your doorstep. I always thought everybody just cooked !

I worked at Knapps for 5 years in the 1970's. I started as Christmas temporary help at the Jackson, MI Mall store in the Sporting Goods Dept in 1973. Moved to the Okemos Mall store in 1974 and became manager of the Sporting Goods & Camera depts. From there in 1976 I moved to the Downtown store to be the Assistant Buyer of Sporting Goods and went on in 1977, or so, to be the Sporting Goods buyer for the entire Michigan chain of L.S. Good department stores. In 1978 they closed the Sporting Goods departments in all their Michigan stores and I moved on to another career in Marketing for Kelmark Engineering and then CATA (Capital Area Transportation Authority). Knapps was owned by LS Good and Company from Wheelling, WV. Larry and Sidney Good had stores in Michigan, West Virginia, Washington DC, and Binghamton, NY. In Michigan the stores were in Lansing, Jackson and Battlecreek.

Indiana football is on the way up and Michigan football is on the way down. Yet Michigan fared better than Indiana in recruiting, which makes no sense to me.

Good thing because they got exposed in their bowl game by a mid-tier sec team missing 75% of it’s starting offense.

A football team whose 50 years of semi greatness is rooted in being a copy cat Buckeye organization, when analog TV ruled the roost. Step into the digital age and copy the Buckeyes once again to attain semi greatness. Go Blow!!

Tom Allen's dad was my health teacher in New Castle many years ago (Tom was a couple years behind me and I didn't know him). His dad made a real impression on me as a student so I'm not a bit surprised to hear that Tom is beloved by his players and other coaches. He should definitely win coach of the year honors and hopefully will keep IU going in the right direction!

@@blackdawg7324 i realize 'should' but i have watched a lot from people that are very clos e to the program. i am just saying, it is what it is. there is nothing i can really do about it. of course there is a small chance those insiders are wrong, but everything i am seeing is growing more and more in that direction. so who really knows? i honestly hope they don't play osu this week

Urban Meyer is available. Hire him as the AD or consultant, and he will find you a competent next coach. Or even better, hand Meyer a $10 million contract and complete control of the program, and watch him do his thing.

1:32, "He is pretty good when his back is up against the wall..." What evidence do you offer for this? I for sure haven't seen any. Harbaugh has been about as resilient as a dead fish frozen in a block of ice.
