Did you ever fear for your life? How did the horses stay sound going like this for six days? I would like to see pictures of where you all stayed overnight as well. Did everyone ride the same horses each day?😮😮

Beautiful countryside! But man, that was some rough riding! I would’ve been scared to death. Those drop offs! And at that speed.😮😮😊

They are not hunting anything. They are hunting the clean boot. That means some runners introduced themselves to the Bloodhounds so that the Bloodhounds would be familiar with their smell. The runners then run off ahead and after a suitable period of time, the Bloodhounds endeavour to find the runners and people follow the Bloodhounds as they do this. When the Bloodhounds catch up with the runners, the Bloodhounds happily greet the runners. So no killing whatsoever.

What a surprise, I live in Medway and never knew that in Kent there was a Hunt. I saw Meopham and know it well and thought this cant be, but it is true.

Thanks so much for this video. Bloodhounds and the clean boot are definitely on my bucket list. I am Australian. If I had a magic wand, I would spirit my behemoth and I over for a few years of fun. Until I find that magic wand, I have excellent videos like yours to watch.

Loved your ride today on Moose, looked like a lot of fun. Would you be able to reposition your camera so that we can see what is happening in front, rather than the ground around you. It makes for a better video if we are able to see what is happening and also what the jumps are like before you get to them. I used to own horses many years ago, and I love watching videos of people riding, it brings back so many lovely memories. Hope you had a good Christmas.

Humans haha! We go out with a Bloodhound pack who only follow the scent of a human runner (who then gets lots of hound cuddles out the end). No animals hunted!

It's a wonderful video. Do you ever use a whip before flying obstacles? I'm not good at narrow obstacles. I sometimes use a whip to say good luck when the horse is not motivated
@VaMooseEquestrian
@VaMooseEquestrian 2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I don't hold a whip with this horse as he is already very sensitive to the leg so there isn't really a need for the crop. But for other horses it can definitely be beneficial as a reminder for them to be careful and pay attention, especially for narrow jumps if you're worried they'll run out.

This horse looks like it would be more suited for trails and Dressage. Such a beautiful trot. Looks overfaced in the jumps like it’s not confident. It needs to be able to tackle those small ones always with confidence first, So his ears are pricked and he’s looking forward to it. Failing those big ones just equals his mouth getting ripped upon. Makes him uncertain. Build a good foundation first.
