Hi, thanks for watching! To use the Blob Brush Tool, you can only select the "Calligraphic Brush" located at the top of the Brushes panel. You can adjust its size as needed. If you’re using a pen tablet, you can also adjust the pressure settings. To use brushes with varied shapes, use the Paintbrush Tool and select an art brush, scatter brush, or pattern brush. You can download my brushes through the link in the video description under the "Free Stuff" playlist.

Select all the line art/line work, then open the "Object" menu and choose "Expand Appearance" followed by "Expand...". Next, open the Pathfinder panel and select "Unite". Press "M" to create a rectangle and place it behind the line art. After that, select both the line art and the rectangle, open the Pathfinder panel again, and choose "Merge". Delete the rectangle parts outside the line art, then press CTRL + SHIFT + G to ungroup.

I group them based on each type. If there are separate outlines or colors, I will group them into one layer. For halftones, I use the same method.

Using the Eraser Tool. To adjust the eraser size you can press the enter button. In the "Size" menu select "Pressure". In Bloob Brush Tool mode, press Alt to Smooth line object.
