Guys I have to be honest, I hated the Elgato HD60s+ so much I returned it. The hassle to set up all the additional cables its worth the time and effort. You can buy the elgato chat link cable but they are hard to find. This is more an issue with Playstation rather than elgato themselves. I hope I could help more but the steps I explained in the video worked for me and thats as far as I could with it. Id suggest recording the gameplay using the elgato and then getting your friends to join a discord call and record the discord call itself separately *AGAIN, A LOT OF HASSLE*. I have a PC so its slightly easier to do.

Running cleanup worked for me after relaunching it. I did this to resolve my mouse not working with the software without updating the firmware just making sure it was plugged in icue is just terrible even on Windows. Thanks a ton dude.

Hey man, you have one of the only videos I've found with an HD60S+ I am trying to set this up on a PS5 where it's pretty much the same and I'm using the analog chat cable, everything is hooked up correctly, The 4k Software is set to analog, I'm using OBS also showing Analog, yet I still have no sound. I'm wondering if maybe the sound capture internals are broke on my brand new device or if I'm missing something???

Great vid, just subbed🙂. Just wondering if anyone can help me. I’m trying to connect my elgato game capture to my Ps4. My Ps4 has one hdmi port at the back of it. At the minute the hdmi lead that is plugged in there is required as that is the source of the PlayStation signal on my screen so therefore I can’t remove it. How do I connect my elgato to the Ps4 if there is only 1 hdmi port and it’s already being used for displaying the Ps4 signal. Any replies would be much appreciated, thanks everyone 🙂👏
