DLSpearman, THANK you SOOO VERY MUCH for having the desire to post 'this'! I NEED to acknowledge you, and to give thanks too. You need to know that you did a service that has blessed TOO MANY PEOPLE!!! A good thang! And I just want your heart and spirit to be encouraged! That means A LOT, and I wish you much health, and the 'best' brother! C.J.

Are they kidding me or what? I saw the choir in the background, noted the words "Oh, Zion"- & I foolishly thought they were going to SING a cover of Twinkie Clark's nice , calm song. I'm in the kitchen, cooking dinner, & I wanted some background music... Instead, I heard the high-pitched screeching of ""Oh, Zion!" 1,000,000,000 times. I was startled so badly, I about fell into the frying pan containing VERY hot cooking oil . ALMOST lost my shrimp.

Thanks for sharing. I truly enjoyed Abertina's home going. While viewing I realized that most churches today have lost much of their "Spirituality" in song. The entire service moved me to a time when Christ was first.......

Yes the Mother on the side came in using a walker cane, through the annointing she didn't use it anymore, she was truly blessed in the service. Thank you, Rance Allen.

Just like Ms. Walker, Aretha's singing ability alone has carried her through dimishing range. Not many singers can pull this off. It is TRULY representative of the fact that she is (as Ms. Walker was) gifted to sing by God Himself. Who needs range when you have "it"???

I love at 4:01 how she acts like she's done and then goes right back into the vamp, classic ole school. Then the music subtlety changes at 4:43 and anointing goes higher, talk about one accord. The whole church together praising Jesus! Its amazing how not matter how hard they tried they couldn't separate us from our African heritage. I can hear it in those drums! LOL! My Jesus!
