I still remember the first three legends that signed my first blackbook and I was only like 13 - AZONE, BOM5, and BRIM. I got a T-Kid piece in it but I wasn't there when he did it. My older brother had given another writer my book and I guess T-Kid was with the cat and just blessed it. I've got straight up LEGENDS in m books and I keep them in vacuum sealed bags to preserve them. That's art history right there. I got pieces, throwies and tags from legends like YES2, SENTONE, SANE (RIP), RYNO, WEN, WIPS, WANE, NEAR, COE, VYNE, MYZER, TEZ3 and a few old old school legends that AZ1 knew like DONDI (RIP), FUTURA, PHASE2, and BLADE. This was from the mid 80s to early 90s. Those were some good times man. There was just a whole different vibe in the air anywhere you went in NYC. It was like an electrical charge that you could feel. It was beautiful. It continued all through the 90s to even 2000 but 9/11 destroyed all that sh!t. The whole world went downhill after that. The youth can't re-spark it because the don't remember the world being that way, simply because they weren't alive back then.

I actually painted next to Ces on that wall behind him. It was the very first time he brought me up to that "secret" location. I've met him back in 91 and since then I'm so proud how he elevated over the years painting with me and our fellow dudes we rocked with. Kudos to this interview here...

For all you haters knocking the DJ - were any of you actually there? I was - and I was standing 15 feet away from the DJ (Roc Raida, from the X-Ecutioners) for his entire set. Dude had the whole place going - the audio here doesn't come close to doing it justice. That was one of the most amazing days of my life - it was like stepping into Wildstyle and Style Wars and Scratch for a few hours. The Rocksteady Crew was there in force, just hanging around with everybody. Random cardboard thrown down, b-boys and b-girls everywhere. I literally bumped into Fab 5 Freddy on accident (actually, he bumped into me, but was very polite about it). Grandmaster Caz was just milling around and talking story. RJD2 did a set, along with Prince Paul, and the day was capped off with a set from the Godfather himself, DJ Kool Herc.

Hey man, straight up, I used to respect cope heaps, even when the original rumours about him being a snitch surfaced (even b4 the utah/ether incident). But there's just too much evidence out there at this point, you can't deny that he's a snitch, and being a snitch isn't the worst thing I heard about him either, but im not even gonna talk about any of that due to lack of evidence. But yeh look, his style is nice, one of the dopest throwups in the game in my personal opinion. But do a little digging and the truth comes out.
