That arpeggiated lead synth at 2:25 (and later) slowly ramping up is a detail I appreciate, you hear that in a lot of legendary themes. I wouldn't notice if you didn't tell me that's not a fan edition xD

Thank you!! :0 It's called Shreddage 3 Stratus. You have to pay for it, or they also have a free version which is simpler

It's called "Shreddage 3 Stratus". Unfortunately its a paid VST, but it is SO worth it if you're looking to make guitars sound clean/real. Or I think they also have a free version called, "Shreddage 3 Stratus Free," if you wanted to check that one out. Doesn't have as much customizability as the full version, but it's still pretty good.

Oh thank you! and they're all presets actually. I don't think I'm good enough to be making my own synths just yet 😂 If you're curious which they are: Synth 1 is a FLEX preset called, "Stunning" Synth 2 is a Kepler preset called, "106 Baroque" And Synth Lead is another FLEX preset called, "Black Ashes"

@@MarleyDaBigWolf Haha, honestly its a mix of a few things. A lot of time, KZbin tutorials, experimentation, and also just listening to others peoples music to get inspiration or ideas. I'm sure if you just stick to it and keep creating you'll get to the level you want to be at eventually. Hope that helps!

Dude.. The reversed cymbals into the snare is soo good! I absolutely love how this song has so much impact with your new additions! Personally, I have never seen Metroid games but this song is gravitating me toward it!

Thanks! I was quite proud of how the drums turned out on this one. The games are quite aged by this point, but if you don't mind the older graphics, and if you have a Nintendo switch or some kind of emulator, then I strongly recommend them. The games are phenomenal, and the music doesn't disappoint 👌

Love the remix! Red Brinstar is my favorite part of Brinstar and this remix fits the vibe perfectly. It sounds like if they made a Super Metroid remake in the Metroid Prime format.

Hmmm, I use a lot of different ones depending on the song and what sounds good. For this one I used a preset from FLEX called, "Major Bruce Dynamic" and the Sub Bass is a preset from Sytrus "BS Below Sub" So usually I'll just scroll through the Essential Bass Guitars preset pack from FLEX, untill I find one that sounds good. although, If you're not a fan of any of those I've also used, "Ample Bass P Lite" from Ample Sound for some other songs, and it sounds pretty good as well. Hope that helps 👍

Thank you, I always try to make the drops hit hard and the melodies stand out! Oh and the guitar VST I use is Shreddage 3 I had to pay for it but as you can hear, it is oh so worth it.

Very nice! And the main melody, as it descends you expect the resolution note, but instead it goes back up. Good stuff!
