99% sure if it wasn't someone would've sent him to the shadow realm on Turn 1. Most players DNF because they have no consistency. AI on Max is a much more enjoyable experience if you want to practice actual clean wheel-to-wheel racecraft.

@@InvictusProductionsX I dont know man, most of my time in iRacing ive had pretty pleasant experiences racing wheel to wheel with people. Even if sometimes crashes happen, that's racing. I'd rather be crashed out by another human than race against AI following eachother in a train.

Yeah, back when I used to do online leagues I'd always race against max ai instead of doing hotlaps and it really helped, even though I was never the fastest I'd always work myself up atleast 3 places in the race. I've never played Iracing just because of the price per month and then having to pay for more cars and tracks.

Sim is Automobilista 2, they have a massive update coming soon adding lots of cars from different classes I'd assume most of them will be paid dlcs :( the site for the lmp1 and lmp2 mod is here mmodding3.net/ if you go to the downloads tab you will find loads more mods than just these.

you’re turning too much too spontaneously causing understeer, that squealing you hear when you turn is the front tyre scrubbing which 1. Slows you down too much 2. Tyre wear increases 3. Overheats the fronts

I'm aware that usually this isn't the best strategy for driving, however due to this car being an endurance mod the tyres are super resistant usually (even for large lockups). Front wear has never really been too much of an issue in part because its really hard to overheat them, this may change in a future update but for now I find this works perfectly fine for smaller stints on a strong tyre.
