I couldn't watch this until now...such a loss. Miss you, Taylor.

Darin I’m so very sorry for your loss. Bobby was such a sweet special soul. I loved him too.. he was my favorite crooner and I followed his career and beautifully crafted music. I can’t even imagine how you and Jas felt when Bobby passed. I was sick to my stomach and cried on and off most of the day and days after and still . His ballads were my favorite.. I cry when I hear them, but I still listen because they bring joy, love and peace to my heart. Darin even though it’s been a little while now, I know the heavy empty horrible feeling you and Jas probably still experience. I’m so very sorry.

Great stories of lives had! I’m just learning about who he and Dave were, together, separately. It’s been a couple days now.. Like binge watching your fav show and realizing you feel like you’ve got a rocker’s attitude toward life now. Lol

watching this makes me so sad now. especially the lyrics "he works hard everyday and I try and I try and I try" Taylor was exhausted with the Foo Fighters schedule of gigs, according to people close to him

Hi Darin, thanks for sharing this. I was using two fingers and playing open A and despite meditating on this line for hours could not achieve the evenness the part demands. I googled "jerry scheff finger style explained" and you popped up right on top! BTW, I marvel at your dad's playing 13 years ago at the Lakland Basses 10th annual show. I so wish the camera person spent more time up close so I could see how he does it. I'm curious to know more about the fast parts where he's using his thumb. - Doug

I saw his last performance at The Forum in LA when Nandi Bushell played Everlong with them. Got to watch Taylor in his most natural state just having fun, being silly, even doing disco songs like 'Stayin Alive' with a giant disco ball. Was just a celebration of life and happiness, that's how I choose to remember him.
