all the 1000.4 have fans in them as well as the 9ks but they all run normal temp little warmer in summer but not extremely hot

thanks man the head unit is a ilx 507 and I have a hki dsp running to all the amps all crossovers set for recommended frequencies

Mic on phone compensates the loudness closer you are so basically it’s louder than that in person but the mic was adjusting the input levels

I have a hki dsp and every speaker crossed over at the recommended frequency and I have more power going to the speaker then they call for but since it’s clean power they handle it no problem Best thing is to have more clean power to a speaker than have a amp close to clipping putting the recommended power to them That’s the key that I figured out It’s better to have headroom on a amp then to have it closed to maxed out close to clipping is the key

lol they have since left me alone I haven’t been messed with in over 10 years they all wave at me now I was at a recent car show and the cops came up and asked me to turn it up lol I turnt it up 5 min later they came back and asked if I could keep it down a little bit that people were complaining lol
