Yeah and I prefer this one more tbh. There even used to be a short film for this version, but it’s lost now. We know this though, it followed this little girl in her room, and every time she walks to her window, she’s twenty years older.

The biggest disappointment of this video? The AI voiceover. Everything else is spotless, but the voiceover just comes off as robotic and emotionless.

I've had this weird dystopian theory about the people turning into goo by world of goo corporation. Whatever It was, I felt scared and uneasy yet this game was so unique that I was able to remember this through all my childhood days. I loved the music and narrative of the story. Kyle Gabler is a genius.

Oh also they reused the “HelloWorld_JOYJOYJOYSONG” too for Chapter 2’s ending, which was previously a song from Kyle’s old short film “The Visitor” which is lost now sadly EDIT: The Visitor doesn’t use that song, the Hello World song was actually from a VR world Kyle made at one point called “Hello World” as well back when he was in university

I don't think the events of Little Inferno take place in the same World of Goo planet, there's implication of Goos in Little Inferno that indicates they're from another planet, I'm sure they at least share the same universe

I remember finding the proof of concept for World of Goo. One of the game designers used it as a final project at their University. Imagine my surprise when I saw it as a full game years later.

I don't think the child is the telescope operator, because that means he is also the sign painter. A child putting signs in dangerous places and even underwater seems unlikely. Furthermore, in the sequel, time has passed 15 years, so the sign painter/telescope operator still being so young is impossible. The child could be the son of the telescope operator, and maybe they both share a common interest with telescopes, and that is why we can see him looking through one.

@@forwhomitmayconcern I think so as well, because its an odd detail to have a kid look through a telescope (one VERY similar to the one at the end of the game but downscaled) in a trailer for no apparent reason.
