You fucked up your graphics with that mod....those shadows during the day are way too dark, very unrealistic. Shadows during are light because of bouncing ambient light. Study how lighting works noob.

At the 2:00 minute mark, the Apache is moving but your cursor is rock solid & stable on the target, how do you accomplish this? I’ve found that if the Apache is moving, the TADS cursor will move with the Apache, so it’s not ground stabilised. I’m forced to constantly adjust the TADS to keep it on target.

Nope, you can use the ACOG as well, if you don't have an acog you can still choose to aim over the gun like this or with the sights for better accuracy and less visibility.
