The tip with the elbow is brilliant . For completely beginners a good trick too 👍🏼

Good stuff, all bout repetition. I’m old school wakeboarder/snowboarder, some skate. Just starting WS, told myself ollie, ollie, ollie. What is wakeskate boat speed n rope length? Should one not try to jump wakes if haven’t mastered Ollie??
@TheWakeskateChannel2 ай бұрын
Hey Bru, thanks, How's your ws journey going? Everyone's progression is different, and with many different pulls available Wakes aren't always an option so most people start with flat tricks progression, but If you are riding behind a boat go for it, I would recommend starting on a short line and driving at the speed where the wake is clean at that length. As you get more comfortable you can lengthen the line and up the speed if you want.

Crazy cool man, it's unreal to think that you STARTED with kickflips on this channel when like you said, you have to have so much board awareness for them. tbh if I ever get to the point where I land a kickflip, I'm just going to hang up my wakeskate then and there like "yep, I feel accomplished"

Hey mate hope you’re doing well! Do you plan on making more instructional videos? They are super helpful as it is hard to find other people in the wakeskate community
@SeanCebell Жыл бұрын
I hope you will consider making more of these they are great not just the helping with learning a trick but even just seeing the same trick from many angles that's pretty nice. If there is a next one fs big spin is an awkward feeling trick. V flip would be cool too!

Late to the party, but thanks for making these! I've been wakeskating forever, but today I managed to sorta land my first toeside kicker hit. I can do them heelside just fine, and I can do fs 180 heelside/toeside no problem. But man, just a bare hit on a kicker toeside is still so awkward for me

Hey Matti I am now trying this trick for second season (its my second season riding too) and I am still not got it done anywhere close to 100%... most of the time I just fell on my back, I try to be really nice and low before pop, concentrate on having my shoulder over the front edge, chest over board, firm forehand and handle low. I catch the board 99% of time, land it 90% of time but then I just goes into squad and hit the water with my ass and most of the time fell down. Its weird as I really try to have weight over the board during pop, but I probably falling back afterwards...I try this on my heelside, all the time, I found out that trying this relativelly close to turn helps me out (I also got this palce reccomended by locals) as there is a great chance that rope will pull me up if I am falling back there. I am trying this in cable park. Anyways, If I manage to land it, even then most of the time I am pretty close to water with my ass...could it be that I am just trying to bend my legs too much and never actually push the skate back down - so landing down with legs bended ? I know its hard to tell from reading but maybe you saw somebody struggling like I do :D Thanks !

I think I just figured it out after watching this video just before my last sesh yesterday. Two things I adjusted and sudenly I got it every second try or so. Lean more on toes - I am used to squads with barbell so I am naturally pushing into my heel. Second thing is that I do not squat as deep on pop (I dont really pop it for now anyway) so I land with a bit straighter legs. Thanks for great video ! I would really love to see how to olllie 360 video :)
@Padel842872 жыл бұрын
Hi, but after the push do I jump up with the back leg? Or the water just pushes it up. And do I use the rope pull momentum to take me up or not?
