5:29 yeah I had a similar issue when I switched to my G36.. my thumb was depressing the mag release every 3rd or fourth round causing a fail to feed issue.. so i had to relearn my grip. That's not a simple task.. muscle memory can be very stubborn lol.

Side note - I converted all mine to version 9 which is safety only because I run it just like a 1911 as well. Give it a hard stop/ leverage point as opposed to risking actuation of the decocker

I have three of these. Modernized with X300 / RMR / Extended magazines. Incredible setup and both crazy accurate and reliable. Easily sub 1.5” guns at 25 yards. Down side is bulky and shootability isn’t bad but not incredible.

They are pretty cool guns, I would definately run a newer LED light and put a good set of night sights on it.

It's a pretty cool gun for sure, once I dialed down the problem it ran great for me. I haven't shot a polymere framed gun that I like so far. I just prefer a steel frame in 45 that drives the recoil straight back. The Glock 41 was my favorite one so far after the recpoil spring was swapped to a stiffer one.

If your holster wears out on you and cracks and then you drop/lose your gun... the holsters definitely not to blame. A holster isn't going to crack like that in an instant without the owner knowing it... and the person that owns the gun/holster is responsible for making sure that his gun and equipment are all in good working, safe condition. It think it would definitely be a form of negligence. That may also be true in some cases when a person chooses an unsafe/unsecure form of holster to use. That's not to sat that a holster that appears to be good can't just fail unexpectedly though and that holster companies are not also responsible for designing and manufacturing bad/unsafe holsters.

@@deucedeuce1572 I don’t disagree with you, but it happens. I’ll make a short with a high end cracked holster to show how they crack. I happen to have one laying around.
@deucedeuce1572
@deucedeuce1572 16 күн бұрын
@@BecomingDangerous0 Cool. Thanks. I'm sure it happens, but in most cases I'm sure they don't just crack out of nowhere without any warning. I've seen pictures of cracked kydex holsters and in every case they started off with a small crack that grew over weeks or months to the point the owner stopped using it for safety reasons. It would be extremely hard to have a previously uncracked kydex holster just crack/fail in an instant. I'm sure it could crack on the inside without the owner seeing it and then fail quickly after that... but I still think that would be extremely unlikely also. I think a holster would have to be over-stretched from the inside for that to happen... and that wouldn't happen from just inserting and drawing the gun. Would appreciate the video/short if you make one. I'm always willing to learn more.

What do you think of the Glock .22? Been wanting one.
@BecomingDangerous0
@BecomingDangerous0 17 күн бұрын
@@wdglockandroll For the money it’s a pass. The Ruger MK4, Sig P322, Berettas 92-22, the the FN 22 pistol are all better options with more capability if you want to suppress or add optics and lights. Glock had a lot of problems with their 22 when it came out and I can’t sell them. Unless you just want a Glock I would look at the other stuff on the Market. The Taurus TX 22 is Glockish and runs great.

I know you said snap caps.. but the newbies may not put two and two together on that note.. Train, practice, train, practice, Train, practice, train, practice, Train, practice, train, practice, Train, practice, train, practice... in that order lol.. i drew on the neighbors big pitty last week, it got lose again and snuck up behind me and the Queen when we was out back starting some yard work. Turned around and there it was 15 ft away trying to decide if it was gonna get payback for the 115 volt shock i gave it between the eyes last year.. i instantly stepped between it and the queen and drew the 45 in one motion.. and told it "you will dye mf' er" lol. It looked at my pistol eyeballs wide and remembered that flash from the improvised cut extension cord , barked and ran for home. Muscle memory is a wonderful thing.
