Most of the time I’m playing power cords, but in this case, I am improvising with the melody of the song. I would say get to know all the notes within each key. Or at least find patterns. That’s what I did. Then you can throw in little triads or even just octave power cords!

So glad to see the Revelation V2 on a pedalboard !! I felt in love with this pedal, so underrated and unknown, beautiful and clear reverbs sounds...this V2 is the best Reverb for me ❤ (not last version, too crystal) And this Echolution 3 is the solution !! I just got this same MC6 mkii and got a full Sunday set dialed in last night in about two hours starting from scratch having never used a Midi controller before. I have it controlling the Strymon Trifecta now I'm considering adding the ML5 to loop in my overdrives and compressor. I setup a song per bank, then multiple presets in each bank for intro/chorus/verse etc...very similar to Helix snapshots. It's funny, I started playing worship music with a Helix but hated it because of the endless tweaking. Now I have this thing which is still highly tweakable but I find getting the tones from individual pedals is more direct and enjoyable than programming a Helix. The MC6 is like a perfect middle ground between a pedalboard and a Helix style unit.

Yes! I love the flexibility of a helix, but the physicality of turning knobs to where you want them instead of menu diving! Best of both worlds 🤘🏼

I agree! The only way I even knew about it was I was trying to have an all blacked out board and that was one of the only compact black delays with all the features I was looking for!

I am using the King of Tone here BUT now that I am currently not using it, I have been enjoying the Blue clipping option for my first stage and then switching (via midi) to the green clipping for more saturation at my 2nd/3rd stage

One thing I forgot to note is also on the golden boy I like to bump the mids up a little bit because the king of tone has a more mid heavy version of a blue breaker

Have a clockwork V2 and an Echolution 3 and have to say I think I used the Echolution more this weekend. Interested/curious on how hard it is to set up a midi controller for the Echolution and the Empress Reverb I have with an expression pedal

I have not had much hands-on experience with midi expression. But I will say If you have a Morningstar controller they have a ton of really good videos on their KZbin! That’s where I learned how to do everything midi 🤘🏼

How did you set up that Bigsby on? And how does it work with tuning?

It is just mounted straight onto the body! I used the strings included to line it up. The Callaham Bridge (link in the description) is specifically designed for bigsbys so that the strings can go over the back. Tuning isn’t bad at all! Just made sure all my fiction points are lubricated!

I love it and have heard it has extra features with midi but don't know how any of it works. Kinda am expensive investment to make without knowing how it works. Yes! I’m going to make a video on this soon! But make sure it is fully updated to version 2.0. Left side: Amp: Fullertron Cab: A secondary (hold down the bypass foot switch and switch to A) Volume: 3 o’clock Gain: 11 o’clock Room: 9 o’clock Bass: 2ish o’clock Middle: 11 o’clock Treble: 2 o’clock Right side: Amp: Dartford Cab: B Volume: 3 o’clock Gain: 11 o’clock Room: 9 o’clock Bass: 1 o’clock Middle: 1 o’clock Treble: 2 o’clock Bump the gain up to 1 o’clock or more if you want to use it without an always on overdrive. Adjust all these setting to taste and depending on guitar.

Guitar tone matters so much as it doesn’t need to be harsh to distract, the devil loves mistakes and bad, distracting tone. Also, don’t get too much into the pride of your tone as it will become an idol, so you will not make it to the gates. Wait, work for tone but give up before you begin worshipping the Overdrihhhh….. wait. Nevermind😂

First sound is: Algorithm - Mod (sky blue) Mix - around 11:30oclock Decay - around 12-12:15oclock Ctrl - 9 o clock Ambient sound: Algorithm - Mod (sky blue) Mix - around 12 Decay - around 1 o’clock Ctrl - 10 o’clock And I know you didn’t ask for it, but here are my swell settings: Algorithm - Mod (sky blue) Mix - around 1-2 o’clock Decay - around 3 o’clock Ctrl - 11 o’clock Hope that helps!🎉
