There was a mega man that refused to approach and just spammed leaf saw and time explosive. It was so annoying. And i though samus and link mains were annoying, they at least sometimes try to approach and do stuff sometimes.

I play sonic and lucario and I just realized that I can abuse some of lucario’s strenght for approaching him in the air and more than anything that I can abuse platforms against him

@@notfranklin4916 so if theres enough space in between each multi-hit, you should be able to parry each one individually. However if the multi-hits are too close together, your shield wont come out fast enough to parry everything. With pika fair, i think you can only parry the first hit that makes contact, but with jab spam you could hypothetically parry it all. Parrying an attack with little endlag makes that “safe” aerial less safe, so those are great to parry! Generally speaking, parrying is better just because you can follow up with more time on your side! Thank you so much!

@@SmashUltimateFITGMR Thanks for response! :) What about are there specific multihitters where I could predict the last hit in a way where I could shield the first hits and parry the last determined one? Like I think little mac, many sword fighters and at least lucarios 3 part jab have these bursts of hits that lead to a predetermined pause. Also how fast can you start the parry window from neutral? Or by extent, how much parry up time can you have by spamming it? (Like 3 parry frames for every 5 frames of vulnerability?) edit. actually I haven't really gotten to try punishing said burst hits that lead to a pause before. Are these generally unsafe on shield already? Should I already be able to punish these every time without a parry?

hey! thank you for the comment. I agree Up air is huge and ewgf is a great anti airing tool, but the tl;dr of this tip is that kazuya just lacks the mobility to chase anyone on platforms, not to only aerial approach. if you ever need a break or camp Kazuya, playing more vertically generally will help! I go further in detail in the video on my channel

@ hi there! cdc tech is good for getting off of platforms, but not inherently good for chasing someone above them. Ferps tech does assist kazuya on getting onto platforms and allows some nasty combos, yet ferps tech really only helps if they already landed their ewgf on you. Its still slow enough for someone in neutral to appropriately react to that escape/reposition if needed

@@SmashUltimateFITGMR Thank you! I hope they will, too! I also found out that you can't dodge the last hit once the 10-Hit finishes, which actually sucks! I remember doing a Perfect Shield against the 10-Hit Combo, but I still ended up getting hit regardless.

@@PMT433 yup! Anyone can find any character annoying for any reason, but its up to the individual player to learn strategies to make the annoying matchups more bearable
