Wouldn't the Pony Express relay stations have to be 10 or 20 miles apart? They always show the horses running full gallop. How far can a horse run at full speed? I don't know if a horse can run 10 miles at full speed.

I enjoy westerns with Fuzzy Knight. He is my favorite side-kick character. After him; George Hayes, Guy Wilkerson and Syd Saylor.

There was a real Republic of the Rio Grande, but had nothing to do with the old confederacy. Once Santa Anna became dictator of old Mexico, a group of Mexicans and some Texans tried to annex an upper area of Mexico and lower part of Texas. The whole thing is good reading found on line. The real flag was black white and red with three stars.

This is a really good Hopalong Cassidy movie. Seeing Hoppy play the role of a " Nervous Nellie", really shows off William Boyd's acting chops.

I for one don't like the music. It just seems like a bunch of howling. Seems like it's just about one note off and out of tune. 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😊😊😊

I think it's neat that these movies had the same women's wardrobe clothes so we see different actresses wearing the same clothes much of the time. I recognize the dress that the girl is wearing from a movie I watched just yesterday. I only watch Hopalong Cassidy movies mostly. I like him better than Roy Rogers or Gene Autry. My mother was a nurse who once worked with a nurse who was Gene Autry's aunt. She said that her nephew hadn't known the head from the tail of a horse before he started making the movies that he was in. 😊😊😊😊😊😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅

Tim McCoy, Bill Boyd and even Tex Ritter are my favorites. After them, Allen Lane and Bill Elliot as far as B-Westerns. My favorite big screen Western stars are Joel McRae and Gregory Peck and of course John Wayne. Woops. I almost forgot Randolph Scott.
