Love this! Is it in drop D? That guitar is incredible. Ive played their higher end stuff, but never played their ancient Sitka, they sound otherworldly.

Ovviamente non faccio nessun commento sul risultato sonoro poiché chiunque pensa di giudicare o di capire le caratteristiche di un sistema da un video su KZbin si qualifica da solo e questo indipendentemente dall'attrezzatura con la quale il video viene fatto. What’s an ‘audiophile song’? I never hear music, audio recordings, I actually listen to on my own audio setups. I guess it means the kind of songs/tracks (they weren’t all songs from what we heard) I’d never ever want to listen to based on this.

Sigma speakers are really impressive, congrats man. If I can throw my input on the digital chain of yours then I strongly recommend trying Lampizator Horizon DAC. It can transform your sound from excellent to almost real, dCS will never provide that musical bliss and live like feeling.

Thank you for your kind words. I’m no longer interested in tubes, that’s why I stay away from Lampizator. The dcs vivaldi stack is doing a great job here for me :)

Hi Alex, many thanks for your recommendations. I will listen to them and see if I can get the CDs then record those tracks and post here. My Spotify premium is streamed via my Yamaha avr and directly to the pilium, so not ideal as I don’t have the vivaldi upsampler here yet. Will see how things go, once again thanks for your recommendations!

Seriously? The song hits in the low 30Hz / upper 20Hz at best. Also there is not really much hi-fi about this song. Find this online in uncompressed format for good sound quality. Its not all about low bass. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mKS0i41roLKij7s

Actually they’re very different if you’ve watched my other videos. It’s unfair to say that Maat speakers are way better than the Q5 simply because they’re much bigger in size and weight. But they truly reveal things that we couldn’t hear with the Q5 with the same music.

On another note, when you’ve got used to the wholeness and incredible bass provided by 2 15” woofers per side from the MAAT, it’s really hard to beat them. I think only the Q7MK2 or M9 should be compared to the MAAT, not Q5 or even M6 in this case. Of course, it’s just my personal opinion but you truly need to listen to the MAAT to decide yourself. There’s no way back 😊

I forgot to mention that the system is very honest and revealing too. If the recording is a bit bright, warm etc. then all those will be there. So from one recording to another, you can feel like 2 different worlds too. Having said that, I am working out the best deal and option for my digital at the moment 😊
