I've only recently found the software. Just downloaded it, then found this excellent video.

I am thinking of purchasing the TC Electronic stereo looper, have you had any problems with it in your use of it? Love this soundtrack my friend!
@FallingIslandsАй бұрын
Hey there! No problems with it at all. Only thing I would note is that line level signals do get a bit hot going in, so be sure to turn the levels down if you're using them with synths or keyboards. It's otherwise perfectly fine.

Yes sir! Gotta love the xd. You do some good sculpting there. I am on my 2nd xd now, & this one is giving me trouble. It's doing that freeze with the horizontal line on the OLED screen & you've got to unplug it to reboot. I've read a ton of ppl complaining & saying Korg was very unhelpful... I'm wondering if you've ever dealt with it? Other than that I love it, & if you're using it all night it's fine, but when it sits for more than 15mins.. that's when it does it. And it isn't an every time thing. Analogue stuff can be real tweaky.. I know that. It's got good conditioned power, I dunno lol. Anyways, great stuff that got did here! Love the improv skills as well as the wave shaping skills! I subscribed, if you wouldn't mind doing the same... I'd appreciate it. I do live band stuff, studio house/deep tech stuff, etc. Thank you!

Thank you for your kind words! This is really quite a blast from the past for me as I worked on this over a decade ago! Listening back to it now, the production is pretty rough, as it was from when I just started making electronic music. That said, it is still something I'm very proud of and am glad to have made all those years ago. Very happy and grateful that you enjoyed it. Thank you again and have a great day! :)

@@FallingIslandsDayum this was a freaking bang for someone who just started working on music production. I'm not sure if you're still into the music industry or not but gotta say you got some skills, keep it up man

It's surprisingly easy to get into! Buy a microfreak and a reverb pedal and you'll be surprised at the awesome music you can make

This is so far the best exploration of the AN-X synth engine I've come across. I've been thinking about selling off most of my gear to consolidate to just a Montage, but hesitate because the sounds I've heard have either been generic or a little thin. This truly does sound massive. Nicely done!

Awesome. I didn't quite understand the point of the Circuit Tracks, took me a little while to realise what I should be doing with it instead of thinking what I thought I should be doing with it...I treat it like an acoustic guitar, at any given moment I can just pick it up, have a quick jam, and put it back down again when I need to....and all of a sudden it makes sense....

Dang. What preset is that? or was it a custom patch. if so, pass the info!
@FallingIslands4 ай бұрын
Custom patch! This was five years ago, but as I recall all I used was some simple plucked sawtooths, then fed through a generous amount of reverb and delay.

Really beautiful music, thank you! How does the sequence keep running when you do key trigger and change the key? Mine stops playing when I do that.
@FallingIslands6 ай бұрын
Hi there! You have to make sure you're on the latest firmware update. To enable key-triggered sequence transposing, hold SHIFT + PLAY. Here's Korg's official video guide on the update: kzbin.info/www/bejne/j2nSfamnbtt-m9U Thanks for listening!

Wondrous. This video is the reason I bought the XD. Have you considered selling preset packs, or making tutorial videos?
@FallingIslands6 ай бұрын
Thank you! Yes, I have considered preset packs, but because I use a lot of third party logue sdk plugins I may not be able to get the exact sounds from my videos. Still, it is a possible thing I might want to do down the line. :)
