I just finished reading the book "Walking with Peety" and this is how I found the video. Thank you, Eric and Peety for sharing such a wonderful story. I had a dog who rescued me after suffering from anxiety he was my true loyal companion. RIP Peety and all the wonderful dogs that have gone to heaven!

Awwww.... Josh you are so loved ❤❤ Thank you for saving the kitten. You each saved eachother! Cats are amazing companions and are non-judgmental. Thank you for serving our country, your service is never forgotten. I had/have 3 service members in my immediate family. My great uncle Pete was a POW in WWII and was never the same 😢☦️🙏🪖🎖, my grandfather George WWII 😢🙏☦️🎖🪖, and my aunt who served 20 yrs as a nurse 😢🎖🪖☦️🙏 I'm so sorry to hear about Scout 😢☦️🙏 please adopt another cat... they NEED us so much. This moved me so much. My cat Gray Boy came into my life during a difficult time. I was walking down the street late at night after leaving a night out and someone approached me with him saying “take him or he’ll freeze!” Handed this gray kitten to me and ran off. Of course I could not leave him, but it was so sudden. I drove him home with me in a cardboard box I found. He wasn’t even scared. It’s like he immediately trusted me, he fell asleep on the ride home. My now fiance and I decided to keep him. We had him for three years until he died suddenly from an undetected birth defect in his heart. I still think about him every day. I have 4 more cats in his honor.

At 5:03, when he went over the bridge , that’s what my grandma said about one of her cats that I loved… she said, “max and motley have gone to the rainbow bridge, in heaven. They’re history, full of loving, tender care, and support.”❤ that’s my story about my grandma’s cats.

They passed away at the same year, but different months. Max passed away in January, right before my b-day… on the 15th. And motley passed away on may, the month for my mom’s birthday.
