Where would be a good resource to gather information on sections of the trail for a winter hike?

Leave that Crane alone! They don't want to be chased . You must be from upstate as this happens when people disturb natural habits 😢
@Baer7925 күн бұрын
As natives from Florida why would you chase a Crane as we have so many showing up in our yards now? Being pushed out from their native habits because of on going growth is not something fun to view.
@knowwheretogo397425 күн бұрын
This was in the middle of a trail. We did not chase the heron. We kept our distance with the zoom on the camera. We have great respect for wildlife. Thanks for watching!

Nice video, however, no offense, but as a kayaker myself, I noticed that your hands are too close together. They should be spread more apart. You have more control that way.

Yes, we handle venomous snakes daily. Especially out in the middle of nowhere. Wouldn’t want Bigfoot to step on it.

Corvus are amazing birds. They remember your actions towards them. Be kind they’ll return that kindness. Even bring you gifts, usually anything shiny if they really like you. Be mean well they’ll remember that too. You may not be able to walk down a sidewalk for up to three years after. 😂 I’m trying to make friends with three that hang out in my tree.

I wonder if they will remember us the next time we visit. Thanks for watching!

@@knowwheretogo3974 I don’t see why not. I guess it depends on how long. I know a young man was mean to them when he was young and for ten years they swooped in on him. He was only mean to one but harassed by many. He hadn’t been to his home town to see if it still happened. This was very interesting to me. I make wild animal friends often. Started with a squirrel, then her son, a chipmunk then eventually a wild rabbit. So now I need a bird. I have a Robin that tolerates me, it won’t fly away, but won’t come to me either. So I work on the crow 😂

This looks like Wakulla Springs, FL. Folks have been swimming on the south side of the springs with the gators on the north side for over 100 years. I think there have been 2 attacks, but it was people swimming on the north side.

Yes. It is Wakulla Springs ! We really enjoy going there. We usually go to see the manatees in the winter. This was the first time that we saw an alligator there. Thanks for the info and thanks for watching!
