The audio quality of this video is very poor. What a pity the microphone was not positioned correctly by the technicians. Fortunately, Parts 2 and 3 have much better audio and are easier to understand.

Newton was late to the trend by about 7 centuries. The model/experiment explained in the video was conducted long before Newton by the Islamic scholar Ibn Al-Haytham, who dispersed light by passing it through a tiny hole and through a prism. He concluded that in fact light and consequently colours, are both perceived by sight. He greatly influenced the likes of Newton and Descartes so I think to him credit is due. The academic environment shouldn't be marginalised with conscious double standards.

30 seconds of unskippable ads at the beginning and then more ads at the end for a video 5 minutes and with currently 45k views…. You’re a joke.

All of our digital/electronic communications and knowlege will vanish for future generations. Storage requires specialized equipment that will become outdated all too soon. So sad.

What a beautiful video. Thank you. Your description was great and using paintings about the battle was very handy in helping understand the situation. I even liked the photo that had all the smoke…accurate in the days of black powder. Thanks.

At age 12, I could not be bothered with this information, but at 58yrs I am eager to learn, rapt with attention. I think we live our lives in reverse to what they should be. We study when we should be outside playing games and learning social skills, and we are "headed for the barn" when we could be back in school to learn about the world we inhabit and the lives our ancestors lived.

Now address the tablet/papyrus that was found which not only was merchant inventory from when the 'Egyptians' first arrived but also mentions that when they got there, they found several large very old Pyramids existed. The three were already there, and all others were merely copies

As a teen in the 80's/90's I thought that Spitting Image was a comedy programme. But when Blairs Labour party came into power they announced that the show would end because they didnt see that they would have the opportunity to take the piss out of the labour government! For me this was an important moment because I realised then that most tv people in the UK were/are left wing activists and that spitting image had been trying to harm the conservative side of politics while pretending to just be a comedy show. I will never forgive them for denying me sketches showing Tony Blair french kissing Gordon Brown, Two Jags Prescott dressed as a woman or a puppet showing Cherie Blair as a robot or something. That would have been just as funny as their sketches about Thatcher or John Major but when labour came to power in 97 they were so partisan that they couldnt bring themselves to insult their favourite party. Pathetic, really pathetic.

She's just airing dirty laundry. You don't learn anything about Newton's work, but that's probably an outmoded 19th century focus. Also, Newton was apparently a really worthless self-promoter whose own ideas were somehow quickly eclipsed by two female translators. A fair picture.

The KGL is a wrongly forgotten part of the napoleonic era as they went through all slaughterhouses in Spain and Portugal. Their final brutality was La Haye Saint indeed with almost 90% losses and after the battle their commander Georg Baring had a mental breakdown .
