Adam is one of the best storytellers of our generation and the counting crows are so vastly underrated.

I’ve never really been interested in Bob Dylan, but this amazing live cover Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers did, plus Olivia Newton-John’s rendition of “If Mot For You” are perfect! Tom really outdid this song, including “Rainy Day Women.” My mom said that covers of Bob Dylan songs were better than the original. Does anyone agree with me?

Is there a more unlikely great frontman in rock than Adam Duritz? Just a pudgy Jewish white guy with dread extensions that is absolutely mesmerizing on stage and has been for 30+ years. Talk about not being able to judge a book by its cover!

This was always so nice that they would play their songs live completely different and with other songs mixed in by themselves or other artists. That was one thing that made them really unique. I remember the "Recovering the Satellites" tour and in the middle of one of their songs they played Thunder Road and I was one of the few people singing along. A magic moment.

What a dead audience. I would've been jumping, dancing, screaming and sweating for these 2 songs
Bob Dylan's 30th Anniversary Celebration concert from 1992. It's a magnificent live double-album, with most every superstar from that era, covering Bob's music. Worth its weight in gold.

He's one of the few musicians who actually sounds like Dylan, and isn't imitating him. It's almost as if Dylan taught people a new way of singing, or rather expressing themselves while they sing.
