It looks easy, but like all jobs that looks easy. The Philip-type screws are crap, & the head can cause the screwdriver to slip out and mash the head up. It would have been much better if they had used Torx screws.

They don't snap..they strip the threads in the aluminium head being over tightened...20nm +45°

Salut,am schimbat lanțul de distribuție cu unul dayco care a venit pe fabrocatie china,a tinut 8000km si sa lungit foarte mult ,a fost schimbat cu kit lant inna dar tot pe fabricare china,dvs ce kit lant folosiți? De ce ar putea sa se lungeasca si sa zornaie in 8k? Practic de la intinzator pana la patina erau 10mm.foarte slab

The timing belt tensioner and camshaft pulley bolts are 20nm + 45° because they are torque to yield bolts. Never reuse old bolts or the nut & stud for tensioner.
